I am going to JFK from IAD myself. I did a quick BDL trip last year back when B6 took-over the route and the same $66 round trip airfare as a weekend trip. PM me if you need any advice on what to do in BDL.

My Elevate points showed up today about 1pm. I ran into a bit of a snag as my name is so long that on the screen shot, my last name does not fully show up. So in an abundance of caution, I took a screen shot of the membership card, and attached that as well. Hopefully, all will go well. I checked yesterday, and there are a large number of Hartford to DC flights that I can book-if I am lucky, I can snag one for a total of $64. If I have to go to $120, I can live with that. Now I will just wait it out until I hear back from Jetblue. Maybe the fact that I have been a Trueblue member since 2012 will help out!

Thanks so much for all the data points! I had been on the fence about whether to participate having never flown Virgin America or JetBlue before and having transferred all my SPG points to my sister last year. After deciding to participate I then spent the last few days trying to convince my sister to agree to take a flight before the end of August - and she finally relented last night. Quickly transferred points from her SPG to her newly created Elevate account around 11pm EST (late I know!) and had been stalking her Elevate account all morning. Happy to report points appeared by 2pm today. Immediately sent an email to JetBlue and now have my fingers crossed!! Have to say I love how efficient SPG has been with points transfers - they must be inundated with requests.

As a point of reference, my SPG to Elevate transfer just took around 34-36 hours to transfer. I called Starwood at the 24hr mark, and they verified the points had already been sent over to Virgin America for processing.

In other words, all that huffing and puffing [undue personalization edited by Moderator] earlier in the thread has no basis. Don't worry!

Probably, yes. And no doubt some people are. I'm no lawyer, but it seems like an outright commission of fraud, and if they suspect, I'm sure they'll have no problem asking for additional details and/or shutting down your account.

But if you don't fly either program, them shutting me down is no biggie.
