This year, the new YQB (Quebec City) - PHL flights, operated by Air Wisconsin CRJs, have been because YQB doesn't have immigration preclearance in Canada, unlike most airports there. They have generally been arriving into gate A2 when I've noticed them. The outbound PHL-YQB flights seem to generally leave from F, so I assume the plane is towed somewhere after arriving in PHL.

C has a security line for preferreds. But you can still use the line in D/E.

I've had problems with TSA contractors who manage the lines in B & C respecting the F/Gold line. When it gets really jammed they just send you to the back of the line, I've even complained to US about it, but they don't have much control in the situation.
I feel like D is way overbuilt for the load it gets, so I usually just walk outside and go through there if B and C are packed.

I merged this thread into the big PHL thread; there's a wealth of info here, no need to re-hash it all over again.
You may want to look in the Travel Safety/Security forum, probably this subforum:

I also moderate there, and there's a couple of TSO's who may be able to advise how to best address the situation.

The checked bag shouldn't be an issue, but I am nervous checking a bag through PHL (regardless of connection time). 99% of the time it should be fine. However, I am a former US PHL ramp agent. A lot of people are lazy and sometimes bags get handled poorly. There is a separate agent that meets the plane for transfer bags only, so with B & C so close (by tug), it shouldn't be an issue.

Double-checking on Terminal F
Haven't been out of F in a while ... Am I to understand
Thanks
- still under construction
- no US club there
- if I have a little time to work tomorrow am before flight I should just go in through C, to club there, and shuttle over?
Thanks

With good timing it could be accomplished in as little as 10 minutes.

On the few occasions that I have taken the shuttle, I've noticed that it is more about timing than anything else. The longest that it's ever taken me is about 15 minutes from the C gate transfer point. Add another 5 minutes for a slow walk from the club and you're probably only looking at 20 minutes tops.
With good timing it could be accomplished in as little as 10 minutes.

I am flying Southwest but have a pass for USAirways Club. My flight leaves from E and the nearest open club is at B/C. How long is the walk from E to the club and do I need to go through security to get back and forth from the two?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I was there Monday mid-morning and noticed more shuttles. They were stacked up at the drop-off points, both directions. BUT, this was past the early morning rush hour.
