Not to get too far off topic but I believe the coronavirus is worse in mainland and the government has more control over the market. This could delay aircraft in XMN while HKG stays on track.

Simply, Chinese government won’t let workers back to work after Spring Festival due to Coronavirus. Local government set blockades to prevent contacts with outside visitors. These workers cannot get out of their homes. Also, local governments set up dates for the workers to return to factories. The XMN line will remain closed for another two weeks or more,

OK, but looking a Google Earth Hong Kong is not an island while a major portion of Xiamen is. If it has spread to Xiamen that's another story and if the line is closed nothing we can do about that.

and 30J Polaris will NOT have PremPlus? (If so, that’s disappointing)

Logistical curiosity. What does the route and flight deck staffing look like to get an A319 from XMN to the US?

It is interesting... I would guess the plan is ultimately to fly the 76A (30J 763/no PP) to leisure-oriented, less-premium and/or seasonal markets in Europe/Latin America. They are among the oldest 767s in the fleet (most 1991-1993 builds) so we could see their duties/utilization reduced as time goes on.

From previous posts I believe that it would be a technical stop (fuel) in Alaska. Just the Captain and First Officer. Someone else will have to chime in if a nonrev would be allowed to fly as well.

They also bought I think five or six 319's from a European carrier that could not be integrated in to the fleet (unknowingly when they bought them) so they are flying them to USA and breaking up for spares.
Also buying some Easy Jet 319's. Hope they keep the orange paint

Maybe worth its own thread - but do folks think there is a chance that, once LOT finishes the acquisition, Condor would ditch its 753s? I forget what thread it had been brought up in, but it would be an intriguing opportunity for UA to add more of the rare bird to its fleet. I did read that LOT is planning on replacing all of Condor's 763s, so maybe another opportunity to snap those up as well.
