The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:

mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=1647&fli ghtDate=11%2F30%2F2015&origin=EWR&destination=SFO

https://mobile.united.com/FlightStat...estination=SFO

Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination as necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

Are the 764s going to get Intl WiFi? Just the one has it now. Maybe they are just at the bottom of the list.

Two 764s in HKG now, but HKG hasn't done 764 WiFi yet. sUA widebody WiFi being done at CWF, MIA and maybe XMN - sCO 772's being done at HKG, 764 was done at MIA, which is also doing 73NG, 752, 753s.

764s may be at bottom of list. I would hope they would just finish one type, then move to the next. sCO 772s have 4 to go, but none in HKG mod now. sUA 772s were only type in in CWF, but looks like 763s going in when 772s exit.

Lots of 772s to go. Lot's of 763 and 764s to go as well.

Looks like the first 789 delivery for 2015 is scheduled for about mid-Feb, with the next two frames set for March deliveries. This will bring the fleet to five aircraft by mid-March.

Good work with keeping up the fleet site.

I noticed the fleet site shows that N820UA (A319) is showing 8F / 40E+ / 72Y and the rest are showing 8F / 42E+ / 78Y. Is that a typo or is there something unique about that one aircraft?

Are the 753s with DirectTV getting the international wifi as you indicated, or are they getting the 737-style mainland only hourly wifi?

Sitting on N210UA (#2510), 772 HI config. Site says 'not yet' for power, but my laptop is merrily charging away as we speak, so it seems that they snuck it in. At least in F. Normal 110V plug.

Would you mind taking a peak in steerage and checking the power situation there?

Joe, thanks for catching my error on N820UA - it's fixed and matches the other 54 319s.

N210UA was in SFO 11/10-17/2014, then ferried to HKG for over a month to get WiFi. Flight Amenities says all rows have power. Probably received power in HKG. Just checked and no other Hawaii 772s have power, but N214UA has been in SFO since 1/6/15. Who knows if it is getting power now.

As far as 753s, N75853 was showing to exit MCO 1/10, but that flight now has another aircraft assigned - #3853 showed WiFi nad it should be only good over the US since looking at United page on WiFi, it states that DirecTv aircraft only receive WiFi over the Continental US - If that is correct, the 753s with DTV can only receive over the US while other 12 units (Former ATA) should have International WiFi. The 753 flies a lot of Hawaii, so when completed, 9 of 21 will not get WiFi over the Pacific.

738:
N73256 sked to exit INT 2184/10Jan with WiFi, slimline seats
N79279 sked to enter INT 2120/10Jan for WiFi
N33292 sked to exit INT 2121/10Jan
N39297 sked to enter INT 2122/10Jan for WiFi

739:
N77430 entered INT 2154/8Jan for WiFi
N69839 exited INT 2155/8Jan with WiF, possible scimitars

744:
N117UA sked to enter XMN 2149/11Jan, aircraft already has power
N118UA sked to exit XMN 2148/11Jan with In-Seat Power

772:
N214UA entered SFO 1/6/15, potentially for ISP

I did take a peek, but didn't get a conclusive view. However, saw some fixtures that looked like they were juice-related. So if I had to bet I'd say yes, at least in E+. Given that I'd say Bunky's observation about the Flight Amenities data makes sense.

I figured this would be the best place to ask this...

goalie-parents are flying SFO-FLL this coming Wed (Jan, 14) on UA1568 and when looking at the flight status, is see "Boeing 737-800SFP | #3511". I searched the 2014 fleet update thread and came up with nothing and the current fleet listing for ship# 3511 doesn't show anything unique. Any info on this or is it just an anomaly?

SFP = Short Field Performance.

Also has scimitars and WiFi. Otherwise pretty much the same as most of the other 738s in the fleet.
