As quiet as this thread is, I don't see the point.
This far out? Could be many changes before. For now, it's just a placeholder. Check regularly, as UA may update at any time, and again, probably more than once.

Your chances are pretty good--the majority of the 30J 763s (14 out of 21, according to the UA fleet site) have been converted to the Polaris configuration. If only a subset of 763s are flying next fall due to reduced demand (hopefully not), that could affect your chances slightly, depending on which frames are in active service at the time.

Interestingly, UA hasn’t removed the old ps sUA752s that were in as placeholders.

I read in another thread that the 13 789s delivered in 2020 "have a new feature that enable then to fly EWR-CPT and SFO-BLR. The original 25 can not fly these routes." What is this new feature, and should these frames be identified as such on the chart, similar to how OW/ETOPS is designated for narrow bodies?

From what I understand, it is quite a costly mod but will enable routes like SFO-BLR, EWR-JNB and better payload on the "existing" ULH portfolio, whenever they resume.
It's not a 787-9ER, but that's essentially the net effect, albeit only a modest improvement. Still, at the margin, like SFO-BLR, it can make the difference between a route being viable vs. non-economical.

319:
N5307U - First ex easyJet A319 that United is taking delivery of. Currently en-route to ORD through KEF as flight 2715
N9312U - Second ex easyJet A319. No delivery flights scheduled yet.
N874UA - Arrived in AMA on 1-Dec/2743 after about a week at TPA for presumably some post-mod induction work. Assumption is that this aircraft is in AMA for paint before it enters service.
7M9:
N27519 - Delivered to UA on 8-Dec/2703. Currently at SEA for induction work.
N27515 - Scheduled for delivery to UA on 9-Dec/2704.
777:
N214UA: Currently in HKG for maintenance
N781UA: Entered XMN for maintenance on 9-DEC/2716
I also took a look through the list of 737-MAX9s which UA will take delivery of. The following all underwent test flights within the last week. Assumption is that delivery to UA will occur very soon:

It's engine-related. GE developed a PIP for the GEnx and there's a software update with plug for the FADEC to slightly increase power. The 2020-vintage 789s come with it from the factory.

It's not exclusively a software mod, as there are some hardware changes in the GEnx PIP and a FADEC plug that modifies fuel flow to the engine (enabling slightly greater takeoff thrust), but it's not as though the engines are being swapped, nor is the airframe being modified.

I'm not sure of the exact pricing, but my understanding is is in the seven figures, per ship.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but is UA's long term plan to go with an all Boeing fleet? I'm assuming their narrow bodies will eventually be all 737 Max?
