No, I don't believe that's the case. They are not getting rid of the Airbus.

They are in process of taking deliveries of used A32X, so I'd say it's a pretty safe bet they do not intend to go all Boeing - and some of the B739 are pretty new, so not even an all MAX on Boeing side (plus they purchased some used B73Ns from Southwest as well as others IIRC).

UA, like AA, has large enough fleet where it makes sense to have both Airbii and Boeings (methinks it gives them more leverage when making new purchases). Alaska, OTOH ....

They also have the A321XLRs on order. Those arent going to be used on stereotypical narrowbody routes but they are being added nonetheless.

I had no idea UA was acquiring them. Last I heard, it was B6 and AA getting them. Any idea where UA A321XLRs will be flying to?

50 units starting in 2024 to replace international fleet of 40 RR 752s. With longer range and better economics than the 752, the 321XLR can serve new markets and longer range markets than the 752.

All true, but I’ll still miss the B752s. I grew to love flying on them.
