MCT for EWR (2012)

https://www.newarkairport.com/at-airport/connecting-flights

United Airlines operates a shuttle bus between Terminals A and C from 5:00am to 10:00pm. In addition, United also operates a shuttle bus connecting Terminal B to Terminals A and C from 10:00am to 10:00pm. The shuttle bus is available at gate A28, B67, and C70 as illustrated in the image above. This service is free and you will not have to go through TSA security again. Please note this shuttle is operated at the sole responsibility of United Airlines and is subject to modification at their discretion.

Current location of BusinessFirst Check in at EWR-C ?

Musical chairs if I ever heard it. I remember when this used to be where Global Services is now, Second level, last door to the left. Then it moved to the Second level, middle door (temporary).

Sometime last year it moved again, top level, middle door, near C2.

Where is it now?

How is 1:10 a legal international to domestic connection at Ewr?

I need wisdom from sages...

United had a Sched change last night, reducing my 1:45 minute connection (already tight) to 1:10. Flying Tlv-Ewr-lax on Z fare. Have global entry, but also checking bags.

Flight not until Feb, so there may be another change.

Do I:

A) change to the next lax flight, creating a 4.5 hour connection?
B) hold tight and try to make it
C) be patient and wait for next Sched change?

Transferring terminals at EWR

We have to connect at EWR from terminal C to A (mainline UAL to United Express). Any tricks to do so in 40 minutes or are we screwed?

Thanks

The shuttle keeps you airside.

Near Gate C70 or C72. You have to run to the shuttle if your flight does not arrive earlier.

The wait for the shuttle may be as short as 5 minutes, but be prepared for a 15- to 20-minute wait—without any place to sit and little room to stand.

RNE, Just saying.

EWR Premier Access Security Line is pointless

Flew from EWR to HKG earlier this week. The Premier Access line was slower than the regular line. It took at least 35-40 minutes to get through the line while the regular security line was moving much faster.

What's the point of offering a faster security line when it's NOT FASTER????

I think one can access it with an AC BP, the only question is whether it is worth it.

There is no airside transit, so if you access the club, you'd have to leave the secure area and re-clear security in A1. Never did understand why UA couldn't extend the bus, since there are probably quite a few AC connections to UA, but they don't.

yes you can get to that lounge with AC boarding pass, but as mentioned, different security zone.

also note the duty free store is before security for those low A # gates
