UA 1175/13Feb, operated by N773UA had the right engine cowling break off midflight SFO-HNL. Landed safely in HNL about 20 minutes late. Track shows it dropped altitude about 60% of the way to HNL, then regainjed altitude. Unsure if the engine was shutd down, but regaining altitude may indicate the engine as still running. Aircraft had returned to the gate and last flight previous was a SFO arrival on 2/7/18. State unveils plan to build $1.1B concourse at Honolulu airport - Hawaii News Now - KGMB and KHNL

I'm with you COSPILOT. My home airport has been overrun with these. UAX has been flying 3-5 flights per day with 50-seaters for a long time. AA just started service with Eagle last summer. Now AE is adding a third daily flight, and they're upgrading two of the three flights to CRJ700. UAX has downgraded service from E145 to CRJ200. Ugh.

Completely agree, I cringe myself having to make the posts. So far 49 ZW CR2s have joined the fleet since September. Looks like will be 63 total when the transition is complete (all currently in paint and/or shop).
