I don't believe its the official UA code, so I dont want to add it to the wiki. Jose may have better info though. It's just the shorthand for the 737-MAX 9 (the tabs on the fleet site use the short hand labeling)

I thought the plan was for 50 of these monstrosities. Did they really kick it up to 63 now?

37X is what the internal fleet code of the 737 Max 9 will be.

On Fleet Pages, the Max is shown on the bottom as 3M. Click on 3M, you'll see Industry codes 39M and 3JM. Using 3M because more than 2 characters take up too much room.

73G:
N23721 entered IAH 2087/14Feb, could be in foir slimlines

763:
N655UA sked to exit HKG 2830/18Feb with Polaris

764:
N76064 sked to exit MCO 2804/16Feb

37X has now been FAA certified. i was going to put an exclamation mark at the end of that, but then i realized that getting excited about more 737s is sad.

if the MAX9 will be coded by UA as 37X, what will the MAX10 be? 37J?

77W:
N2747U - Currently in the pre-assembly stage in Everett

789:
N24974 - Entered induction at IAD on 16-Feb. This is the last 787-9 that UA had on order. Next up the -10s at the end of the year

E175:
N87360 - Does anyone know what it is going on with it? It's been sitting in IAH since the end of December. The last CR7 that needed to exit the fleet before this aircraft could enter service did so several weeks ago.

Air Wisconsin CR2 Update
Flying has stopped for AA. Conversion time is roughly 1 month. There should be two more aircraft entering service in the next couple of days (N448AW and N458AW), one following at the end of the month and the rest around mid March.

N410AW - Currently in OKC for transfer work, been there sine 31-Jan
N412AW - In ORF since the 14-Feb, waiting on a ferry flight to FTW or OKC
N414ZW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 14-Feb
N417AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 14-Feb
N421ZW - In CAE since the 14-Feb, waiting on a ferry flight to FTW or OKC
N448AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 16-Jan
N451AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 14-Feb
N458AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 17-Jan
N461AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 14-Feb
N462AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 14-Feb
N463AW - Currently in FTW for transfer work, been there since 15-Feb

Someone noted over in Status of UA's DEN-NRT thread that a 777 was subbed in for 788 on Saturday. Thought I'd ask here to see if you experts can tell me why as the other thread started years ago and is not really followed anymore

Looks like sCO flew UA143 and sUA flew UA 142 back to Denver on Sunday.

Looks like back to regular 788 with this one off 777 round trip.

FWIW, 143 frame came from SFO and 142 frame came from ORD and flew to IAD.

Around 4a DEN time on the 16th it swapped from a 787 to a 777. In quick succession it went from N27908 to N20904 to N2136U to N792UA. A few hours later it swapped to N228UA. And then to N223UA. The aircraft did SFO-DEN-NRT-HNL and is currently en route HNL-NRT. It will continue to IAD later on the 19th.

Looks like N20904 cancelled in NRT operating as NRT-DEN UA142/16FEB and that had the company scramble a bit to get everything back in place.

Also, N792UA was supposed to operate FRA-IAD on the 15th but CXLD and was stuck in FRA an extra night.

According to PR Newswire
United expects to begin operating MAX 9 aircraft on June 7, between its hub at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport and five cities. Beginning June 29, United expects to add additional MAX 9 flights from its Houston and Los Angeles hubs including service between Los Angeles and Honolulu.

So the United website now lists 3 versions of the 737-700. The newest version has one less row of E+...anyone have any info?

N39726 (GUM bird) landed in IAH on 15-Feb. It's likely the first GUM bird being converted to a slimline config. Usually UA doesn't post the new seatmaps until the first bird is closer to exiting the mod process but they may have posted this one earlier than normal. Why it's not in the same config as the other 73G slimline birds is possibly because 1AB need more space due to being crew rest seats??

Yes, seat pitch in F is higher on the GUM birds because of the crew rest position. I believe the lower quoted number on the website is because 3AB might have slightly reduced pitch.
