In some respects yes, but in others, it's better than the old site.

my frustration right now is the pricing of each leg individually. I am looking at international flights, and often go business/global out and coach back.

I find an $1800 outbound leg, and then all the coach fares are $4000.

I'm spending a lot of time doing something that took 1 second to type into the old interface.

Edit - just went to google flights for first time, and it may be an option for me to book flights. so much easier!

Traveling Internationally and not given option to check in within 24 hours on return
 
Did get an email about it being 24 hours and 1 segment i was waitlisted for did not clear. had to call .com support and they said it was working fine on their end. pretty funny. I asked how that can be if i pull up my itinerary and I am not given option to check in? Attitude of the rep was like whatever
- so i asked shouldn't customers be able to see the same information?

No you didn't make a mistake - the new UA website does this to me as well - it's almost the last straw. I've complained to UA but never once gotten a response - the new website has something wrong with it - I'm not sure what but I find this all the time now - so much so I use google flights instead....

Something is definitely wrong. Here is what I see in the grid for the dates in question:

But when I scroll through all of the options (3 pages worth), I do not see a single saver award available in premium class.

I thought it might be a browser issue. I was using Chrome (Mac), then tried Safari. Same result.

I tried logged in, and logged out. Same result.

This is frustrating!

Using the new site, I see SFO-SJO saver premium award seats on 3/2, 3/3, 3/9, and 3/10 (didn't check other dates.)
AV561 + AV671 and/or AV565 + AV621.
The old site shows the same results.

Google flights and United.com showed the same price for a flight I have booked in November. However, it ain't half slow returning the results, and I mean painfully slow.

Are there filters applied on the left column which are restricting the results displayed? As is now mentioned by two others we see the award space on partners for the dates you've complained about.

I do not know what is happening here. There are no filters applied:

I see 3 pages of search results. On all 3 pages, it says "Not Available" under "Business Saver Award". And as you can see, in the filter area, it only lists Economy and Business Standard as filter options.

I do see Economy and Standard awards available.

How do I search the old site?

My first visit to the "new" site today....Horrid is the only way to describe the new reservation screens...the one thing United had right, and now screwed up completely. :mad:

Yes, I am not an admirer of it I have to say. It sort of tries to be everything when less would be more.

Booked 3 trips while not logged in on Friday. When you get to the final click here to purchase and click to proceed I received an error message all 3 times and it appeared that the transaction did not process. However the booking was completed each time as I received the confirmation email.

This happened while using both Firefox and IE.
