The arrivals lounge at London Heathrow, located immediately after immigration and customs, is a shared space with shower suites, breakfast items and more. This lounge is exclusively available for United Polaris business class travelers.
Eligible travelers must be flying on a same-day ticket arriving before noon and cannot bring guests. Additionally, United Club memberships and one-time passes dont grant access to this lounge.
Although the requirement is to enter before 12PM for arrivals, there have been reports of entry up until 1:30PM.

Was in lounge this morning on the way home from goodwood - am told construction will begin imminently ( lol ) to combine the spaces with Big Ben still alive and well.
Must admit I love the private lounge - even if its not what it used to be.

Well its August 30 and Im in the GS lounge now and it looks the same as always (minus Big Ben). No sign of imminent construction or the rumored combi lounge. But its fairly busy in here (1130a-1230p). Food selection meh but self pour is still nice (and I do like the Crmant ros).

Not a Polaris lounge question but a UA lounge question nonetheless.
I am flying ANA in First Class from LHR to Tokyo.
I see that UA operates not only a UA Club lounge but also a Global Services Lounge. Travelling F on a Star Alliance carrier would this give me access to the GS lounge?
Thanks in advance.

You can ask at the entry desk and most likely you can enter that section, but there really isn't much difference. A small, self serve alcohol selection instead of a staffed full bar. And the restrooms are a bit nicer. A bit quieter overall.
But the food selection is not as robust.
A lot more info in the main LHR United Club thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unit...w-open-15.html

United Polaris Arrivals Lounge at LHR
I will be arriving at LHR Terminal 2 on a United Polaris flight and would like to take advantage of the Polaris Arrivals lounge. I need to check my bag for a flight to KEF on Icelandair (traveling on 2 separate tickets so can't check my bag through all the way to KEF).
Will I be able to take the elevator up to the Check in level , drop off my bag then come back down to the Arrivals area & use the lounge?

The United Arrivals Lounge is located after immigration, you will need an ETA to cross the UK border.
