The arrivals lounge at London Heathrow, located immediately after immigration and customs, is a shared space with shower suites, breakfast items and more. This lounge is exclusively available for United Polaris business class travelers.
Eligible travelers must be flying on a same-day ticket arriving before noon and cannot bring guests. Additionally, United Club memberships and one-time passes don’t grant access to this lounge.
Although the requirement is to enter before 12PM for arrivals, there have been reports of entry up until 1:30PM.

fair but the IAH and LAX UCs are very different experiences from the LHR UC. Look I’m very disappointed by this as it takes away a very nice segregated lounge which was a differentiator for GS (and select 1Ks) but the disappointment has nothing to do with the product offered.
We know that in 2016, UA thought LHR (as well as NRT and HKG) merited PLs despite existing and very nice UCs (and GFLs) at all three.
Then COVID happened and the ex-USA PL plans were shelved. In the interim, NRT and HKG shrank dramatically (the former because of HND, the latter mostly because of geopolitics/war) while LHR has remained as important as ever (and even grew some). And post-COVID, UA has invested heavily in clubs.
So why not go back to the original plan for LHR? I am struggling to understand why UA’s thinking remains changed even post-COVID.

I was at LHR UC on Saturday afternoon. It was quiet due to few *A flights in the late afternoon.
My LHR-IAD flight was less than half full in economy.
The LHR UC is still nice and it is showing its age a bit.
Food is plentiful and the clotted cream/jam with warm scorns are the must try if they are served in the afternoon at the LHR United Club.
Sorry to those who preferred the Cornwall way of preparing the scorns (clotted cream on top of jam), my Devonshire upbringing always have me preferring the Devon Way (jam on clotted cream).

Well actually the food at the LHR UC is much better (and greater variety) than the buffet on offer at the EWR PL. And the table service dining at EWR isn't particularly exciting. It's usually decent, but nothing like the Delta One lounge. So frankly I'm fine with the bountiful buffet at the LHR club, especially since I will probably eat on the plane anyway to kill a couple of hours on the day flight back west.

Big clock face gone from LHR GS Lounge - apparently new entrance being constructed
Am in LHR GS lounge this morning and sad to see they have taken away the big ben clock face and its just a black space now - I really loved this thing
. I spoke to a member of staff and they told me they are clearing to for an entrance into the lounge - looks like it would be from the top of the stairwell?

As bummed as I am, I was literally the only person in there for more than an hour before my flight. A pretty cool experience in what might be last chance to sit in there.

Since the inevitable is by definition unavoidable, I would be OK if they locked the two phone booths in the UC and just gave out the secret code to Frequent Flyer Friends of LHR ...

LHR Arrivals Lounge?
Does LHR have an arrival lounge? I vaguely remember that I had used one many years ago. My flight arrives at 6:45 AM and I need to be at a client meeting by 10:30 AM. Trying to find out what my options are for freshening up.
