This discussion has me generally curious about UA’s thinking regarding LHR.
We know that in 2016, UA thought LHR (as well as NRT and HKG) merited PLs despite existing and very nice UCs (and GFLs) at all three.
Then COVID happened and the ex-USA PL plans were shelved. In the interim, NRT and HKG shrank dramatically (the former because of HND, the latter mostly because of geopolitics/war) while LHR has remained as important as ever (and even grew some). And post-COVID, UA has invested heavily in clubs.
So why not go back to the original plan for LHR? I am struggling to understand why UA’s thinking remains changed even post-COVID.
