I would. I called 1K yesterday, and this afternoon, and had, respectively, wait times of 1min and 30 seconds.
The agent insisted RPU/CR1 upgrade waitlisted as ON (vs. R) is ok, even though it's a 2-class PMUA aircraft. I hope he's right and folks on CPU aren't clearing ahead of me (it's currently R/RN0 so doubt it)! Thought about yanking the RPU/CR1 given it's within 96 hr window but thought I'd test if instrument sponsored upgrades get priority now. Still waiting for EUA on a different R/RN9 segment to clear... come on it's << 96 hours now! |

Same, called 1k just now to sync a reservation and picked up within a couple minutes. Big relief after a 5+ hour episode few weeks ago.

Mileage Posting
For anyone that flew on 3/2 and 3/3, have you seen any miles post yet? I'm waiting for the 8,000 miles to post so I'll have enough to book a reward ticket for a relative. It was two CO flights and one LH flight on a United Milage Plus number that has now been switched back to my old CO number.
Glad I saved my boarding passes... |

Hey, seems could not get award travel results for MIA originating flights. When trying MIA-CHI, gave me an error. Tried MIA to several other cities including NYC, ICN, NRT, PEK, same ..
united.com could not find any available flights for award travel meeting your requirements. You may modify your search criteria or contact United Reservations in United States at 1-800-300-1547. |

...I think I recall Shannon noting that the ON was incorrect for the 2-cabin aircraft also and that they were working on it, but I didn't want to wait it out! Sounds like there is still some confusion out there.

Gbegbe, this was answered by UA Insider earlier: if your MileagePlus number is in the reservation when you made it, it'll automatically be queued up into the CPU process.

I have an award itinerary that I booked well before 3/3, to which changes were made (also well before 3/3), for departure months from now. Post-changeover, I see that the flight I wanted to keep, as well as the flights I changed away from are all listed on the "view reservation" page. However, the receipt only lists the correct current flights, though it shows the cumulative number of seats to be assigned.
Before 3/3, I had some "auto-changes" due to schedule changes. One of these changes had an illegal connection, which I corrected by calling Continental. After fixing the illegal connection (before 3/3), I checked continental.com and the itinerary was fine. I also pulled it up on united.com and I could see all the segments, including the ones that had been changed. Now, it appears the Continental variant is gone. I think the problem (if any) actually occurred back when the agent changed the ticket to fix the connection, and it's simply been carried over after integration. As I have a confirmed ticket, seats, and all seems A-OK otherwise, I'll wait a few days until things calm down with integration before calling. (I'm a long-time lurker, and I came here to look for this same issue, so decided to reply to say, yes, there is at least one other. ;) ) |
