CPU definitely not working
 

Look at Flight 503 BOS-SFO tonight. Only one cleared upgrade with 12 people on the list with plenty of R availabliity. TOD upgrades are being offered at checkin.

If theres 12 on the list and TODs are being offered- then I take it the system is Not working properly? I thought the TODs cant be offered until all elites can be cleared?

Obviously, that is a lie perpetrated by UA. There many anecdotes of TOD offers while many elites are still on the waitlist, including this flight tonight. R availability has been wide open for days now on this route, yet no elites are getting upgrade at their windows. Whether intentional or not, the new system is NOT clearing elites in advance. It is prioritizing cheap upsells at the kiosk and at online checkin.

UA Insider, any update on reservations marked as "This reservation has been refunded"? I have several reservations that went to "A modification has occurred" to "Refunded". Seat assignments and classes of service do still appear to be intact, though.

I had a sponsored CR-1 wait listed for a P.S. flight coming up in 3 weeks. EF showed R6 yet I still wasn't upgraded. My sponsor had to call (and wait a long time) to get it manually processed.

Now is a very good time to have an EF alert for your flights. At least if there is R available and you haven't cleared in your window, a call would avoid losing your seat to a lower tier or TOD upgrade.

Thanks, Shannon! Another content issue: The Amtrak earning page still refers to Continental. I understand there also might be more aspects of the UA-Amtrak partnership still to be announced?

I'm also noticing these issues:

Have an SQ flight tonight from JFK-FRA. Traveling in SQ business class gives you access to the crummy JFK Oasis shared lounge. Haven't recieved my new card so I went to the United website in an attempt to print one out. Wanted to have it as backup in case I cannot get into the Swiss lounge at JFK. I know having my March 3rd expiring card and boarding pass as backup SHOULD get me into the Swiss lounge but wanted to be certain I dont get turned away.

This is the message I was greeted with.

Option to print membership card is temporarily unavailable
We have temporarily disabled the ability to print a membership card as we finalize our system migration.


If you have elite status in 2012, rest assured that you should receive your elite card and credentials this week, if you haven't already.

Nothing posting for me as well - last flight was March 1.

Was wondering if there's an actual thread or place to submit issues related to the new website, since the change took place on Saturday I've noticed multiple issues:

- When checking the "keep me signed in" option, the login doesn't take place, it just refreshes the page without logging me in (ironically enough, if I don't check the option, it does sign me in AND keeps me signed in)

- When looking to book award travel in Business or First CO's site used to show a warning about segments not being in the same fare class from the general screen. Now you need to click into the reservation to see classes of service for each segment.

So far these are some of the issues I have found.

Shannon, any updates on this? If this indicative of the future, there is no point in making 1K as the benefits are severely diluted.

Your SQ business class BP gets you access to any star business class lounges. Why do you need the card? Is this not true for Swiss...may be I am missing something?
