I would tend to agree, it's just hard to figure out why else this would be kicking in now ...

Given some of my happenings with Chase in the last ten years I'd be less than surprised. TBH, they have at least been pretty good at taking responsibility for their own screw ups. I wonder when I call them up if they will in any event try to pull the "wasn't us, guv'nr" card. We shall see ...

And now phone number auto recognition doesn't seem to be working....

Once I figured out that .sux was not smart enough to have the same number stored for multiple mp members as .bomb was able to do and removed my cell number from the accounts of goalie-dad, goalie-mom and goalie-sis, my cell number was then auto-recognized but sometime over this past weekend, it stopped working. I still works for my home phone but not my cell and I even removed both numbers, logged out, waited 24 hours, re-entered both numbers but no go.

I had my 1K refund show up as well. Sure they'll repo it eventually.

For the examples I cited above all were for domestic post 3/3 travel. Go figure?

New Problem - Shares Won't Display Avail Flights!

Tried to book a multi-destination itinerary today and cannot get Shares to list all available flights unless I switch to one-way search. But that won't do me any good because they won't display when I try to do my RT booking. So, I know the flights are there and space is available (over 6 months out, by the way), but there is no way I can incorporate them into my itinerary. It's like Shares was trying to force me into 3-4 hour layovers instead of the 1-2 hour ones that I wanted. Price was not an issue--I was unable to find the flights that I wanted when searching by schedule.

I called the "No-K" line and the friendly agent told me that it wasn't possible to book the itinerary with the flights that I wanted, so I was forced to go to Orbitz to book it, and actually saved $5- over what ITA told me it would cost on .bomb--But I lose the EQM bonus for not booking on .bomb, so it is not the ideal situation.

What is going on here?!! Is it possible that UA doesn't want us to use their booking engine, which, by the way, is glacially slow compared to Orbitz???

Shares is a real POS (person of size)!

That's an insult to persons of size everywhere!

I have the same problem with award travel which show segment by segment, but not as a round trip (flights are over 6 months out too). But with award travel I don't have the luxury of going to Orbitz. I'm also not inclined to spend 3 hours on the phone with the 1k desk either.

The old CO site allowed you to see where you were on the upgrade list. The new site doesn't have this.

The old UA site allowed you to see your upgrade inventory as far as who used it, who you sponsored, etc. Is it possible with the new site? I don't see it.

You can find the info through the mobile app, or the mobile site:

As of now, I don't believe that this is possible.

It only lets you see flights 4 days in advance.

Not sure if this has been posted, but when I get an email confirmation with my e-ticket in my Outlook, I cannot print it out. It hangs up my browser, which is Firefox. I used to be able to print these out prior to 3/3/2012.

And a double refund for me as well (tho mine was for an itinerary booked with an e-cert yet charged the full price of the ticket by "mistake")

Refund #1 rec'd 48 hours after I called

Refund #2 rec'd last night/this morning

Now where my flight is not until October, I'm going to leave the money in my account and not to say anything until after I fly as my gut tells me that the way things are going, CodbaUA will end up canceling my itinerary (and maybe take the money back twice as well) but I will call them after I fly and the miles post to see if they want their money back .

fwiw, I just had two flights on the same one-way itinerary upgraded by the same RPU post differently ...

4/21 UA266 SFO-ORD posted as Z with the accompanying PQM/RDM bonuses.
4/22 UA3553 ORD-SDF posted as ZT without any bonuses (T was the original booking code).

(both flights are on a SFO-SDF leg that I upgraded with a single RPU from a T booking code)

I don't really see any rhyme or reason for the difference either.

This may be minor in the general scheme of things, but it indicates just how much clean up they still are doing almost two months after the systems integration:

1 Stop. Time on the ground in Washington, DC (IAD - Dulles) is 41 minutes. Change Planes.
Equipment changes in Washington, DC (IAD - Dulles) to a Boeing 777-200. Equipment changes in Washington, DC (IAD - Dulles) to a Boeing 777-200. No, you actually have to change that many planes. This is legit.
