I may be a complete idiot, but I don't think so though some on FT may disagree... and the bank of kiosks at the unmanned CS area near gate 80, I think , at SFO didn't appear to have any way of scanning a BP. There was only the CC reader like gas pumps have, and the slot where your BP is delivered. I had to go to DEN to find an older kiosk with a grocery store-style 3 x 3 inch scanning pad.
Yeah, CS kiosks are *less likely* to have a reader, because you have other documents available to retrive a reservation. They really are less there for a fresh check-in and more there for a reaccom - which you'd have BP already that you can refer to - or did a credit card. Does that make sense?

Haven't been able to log in via the iPhone app since yesterday afternoon.

BTW, posting time averaging 96 hours (not 72) for me
SIGH, it's 96 hours for me too, for flights taken last week. I wouldn't mind if it took a week, just make it match up with whatever you promise, United!

I still have an itinerary where the domestic F portion of an international flight, upgraded with a GPU, is still showing ON for the fare basis. Wasn't that supposed to have been resolved weeks ago in one of the many sweeps?

It was - but I also had miles post correctly on a few different ON segments recently, so you may be okay regardless

Why is the website so god awful slow?

Login to the site and view "all my itineraries" and it takes 30 seconds for the page to return.

Look for flight search results? that's a minute.

insane.

And here's one...

goalie-sis flew DCA-PBI on 4/16 on US where she booked via US with her "new" MP number in the reservation and the miles posted correctly on 4/18 so if a partner can have the miles "sent over" a post correctly why can't COdbaUA get it right for their own flights and their own metal?

Maybe that's the problem I'm having. Booked UA 1295 SFO-IAD 757-300.

Will only allow me access to EXIT ROW seats. Showing everything else as Economy and will not allow me to select a non exit seat. Sigh.

So, when I try to OLCI, it logs me out - anyone else noticed this especially on TATL where I have to laboriously enter my saved passport details. I cannot seem to decrypt the combination of links I need to follow for it to recognize me as a logged in person and fill in all my details from my profile.

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with united.com reservations? I've been trying on and off today, but keep getting an error. I finally gave up and ticketed via an agent, but just curious if it's just me or if others are seeing issues as well on united.bomb.

And the problem du jour is seat goes from 21H to 20B at OLCI (all good) and then because you cannot print boarding passes at home any longer, check in at the airport and get 30C. No-one knows why, they can see the seats I had in the original reservation but ka-boom, something, someone, somewhere decided that I wanted to sit in 30C. Absolute garbage after almost 2 months of absolute garbage. Luckily they fixed it.

Still having trouble booking NZ segments when they are not immediately before/after a UA segment (a multi stop itinerary where one segment is NZ only). The UA website can not find any flights on star alliance AKL-SYD (one of the busiest air corridors in this part of the world).

Are there any other star partners where similar issues are happening?
