NEXUS holders that live outside of US/Canada... How did you change your 'mailto' address?
|
Used my Nexus for the first time yesterday. Used the GE machines because the fingerprint seemed easier than the eye scan. It was kind of fun and definitely faster, though I wished it had enabled me to bypass the belt-removing and liquid- and gel-unpacking. Definitely worth $50, even worth $71 including the parking at the YYZ interview once I repeat this for five years.
Question: When I leave MCO, can I use Clear, or is that a completely separate deal? |

Clear is a private company, and you need to be a member of that program use the Clear lane.

It's something I bought on Amazon.com that I am returning. The return shipping was free as long I shipped it in the US. It's not commercial or anything, I am not making any profit or anything with that return.

11 Business Days for me - unfortunately, we had our trip to the USA on the 10th business day, so it was waiting in the mailbox when I returned. I used Global Entry into the US, and there was no line on the return at Customs (since our flight was delayed 2.5 hours!!), so it wasn't that big of a deal.

For me, the card was in my mailbox on the morning of the 4th business day after the interview, but my interview was after normal business hours on a Thursday, and if it was put in the mail on Friday, it would have been moving my way over the weekend. They said "7 to 10 business days" but it was much faster for me.

You should be able to change your mailing address in GOES. It's your permanent address you can't change online.

You need to add the PASS ID (it's on the front of your card, like a 8-10 digit number) to your frequent flyer programs as your "known traveller number". When the podium TSA agent scans your pass, and sees that you're TSA Pre, you get the line you describe (shoes on, computer/liquid stays in the bag) |

You can use TSA Pre, however.

When does this start? I just went through SYD yesterday. Didn't see any sign beside the AU and NZ flags.

Good luck yours comes tomorrow. I'm heading from YYZ south on Friday morning for a week. I was so sure it would arrive that day after I fly and I wouldn't use it until December or January.
I was pleasantly surprised they provided a RFID blocking sleeve to carry it in (the better to hide the weird photo.) In the letter with my card, it says I need to activate it within 30 days of receiving the letter. When I logged in to GOES, the "Activate Membership Card" has now been replaced with "Manage Membership". When I click on that, I can see three buttons at the top: "Print", "Replace Card" and "Add Vehicle"... I can't find the "Activate Membership Card" anywhere, I swear it used to be on the main page right next to my Trusted Traveler info. Does that mean it is now automatically activated? |
