There's only "Manage Membership". I sent an email to their customer service, so hopefully they fix it before my next trip.

Don't log in. Just go to the main GOES page. Instead of logging in, look on the bottom right, to the right of where you type username/pass, there is a "card activation" box, with a link to "activate membership card"

That's why the US created the GLOBAL ENTRY program, and have now allowed Canadians (but not Mexicans yet) become members if they have NEXUS.

Mexicans are not members of Nexus - their program is Sentri.
Also, Mexico is now an 'approved other country' allowing it's citizens to join Global Access - however, it is a new application - Mexican Nationals with Sentri are not automatically eligible for GE. This is a new pilot program eff Dec 29, 2010.

see: http://www.globalentry.gov/eligibility.html

Global Entry is open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, Dutch citizens, and Mexican nationals.

Hey guys.. So I thought I'd join the thread lol.

I applied last Monday, 2/28, and got conditionally approved today.

The interview isn't until JUNE!! Man are they busy...

I was wondering what your experiences were with the interview, and what to expect.

Thanks in advance

I'd keep checking the appointment website for other dates as they will come up from time to time.

Phone 1-866-NEXUS26 and talk with an agent about the very late appointment (ask for recommendations).

The problem for you is that there is a 90 day limit between conditional approval and interview. If you are booked into June then hopefully your getting it done within the first 10 days of June.

Another point to consider is to make sure there are absolutely no other appointments available between today and your date in June. This includes appointments that are available but do not fit your schedule. If you get into a bun fight with Nexus office over the 90 day rule (if you miss 90 days then you must reapply), they could throw an April or May date during business hours and say that something was available.

Do a MR to YWG - interviews are very easy to schedule, even next day availability is possible (only in the AM and not each day, though).

Thanks for the heads up :)

Actually - I was able to find an earlier appointment this morning... I suppose somebody canceled, so I'm booked for next Thursday! Glad it worked out that way. On GOES it asked me for the reason I want to change my appointment - I said earlier date found.. Hopefully that should be ok.

Otherwise, I probably would have done a YWG MR or drive up to Buffalo.

No advantage to one or the other. However, if your passport doesn't have your middle name or only lists an initial you will need to provide a birth certificate.

thanks for all the feedback. just wondering, both my CAN/US passports have my first/middle names on them. when i apply on GOES, do i need to put my passport info along with my birth cert. or passport itself is sufficient? thanks.

I thought you had 90 days to schedule the appointment.

As long as you fly to a Canadian airport that has NEXUS, yes. Currently that's all Canadian airports that do US preclearance (YVR, YEG, YYC, YWG, YYZ, YOW, YUL and YHZ).
Thank you @Shareholder and @PhotoJim
I think I'll be getting a NEXUS now

No, actually you only have 30 days to schedule the appointment.

Just an update, I had my NEXUS interview today.

The whole thing was under half an hour... The Canadian side was done first, then had to wait a little bit for the CBP... Just a regular passport check was all it was.. They didn't ask me anything.

Enrollment in GE was automatic also. :)

Nevermind, found what I needed.

Resetting GOES Password

After getting the card about GE enrollment, I wanted to login and set this up online to add to my Nexus profile. However, after having changed the password months ago with GOES, I get the following error:

Your account has been suspended. Please contact GOES Support to request for a password reset.

I've e-mailed the listed e-mail ([email protected]) three times and never received a response.

1) Anybody have any other e-mail addresses that have received action?
2) Is two months too short to wait for a password reset?
2) Can enrollment in GE be done at an enrollment centre such as YYZ? (of course without GOES working, not sure how I could get an appointment).

Suggestions?

Have you tried calling GOES support at their published toll-free phone number?
