It's not just you! I started my application last night and finished this morning. I received quite a few odd errors along the way. But, finally it took my credit card info and accepted my application. Working on my wife's since then has resulted in my n:eek:t even being able to load the main page at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/

FWIW, I was just able to get enough of the site to work to be able to log in ... and to both receive and enter the security confirmation code. At that point I'm once again stuck with a blank page that just says "Loading..." If I'm actually able to load a page again I'm sure my login will have timed :rolleyes:ut.

All my son needed was his passport. I have also heard that they can ask for proof of residency (e.g. a driver's license) and your conditional approval letter - but those were not requested in our situation.

What do you mean car papers? Your vehicle has zero bearing on NEXUS eligibility/approval. Vehicle registration and inspection is only for SENTRI. Documents needed for NEXUS are documents you referenced in the application pertaining to citizenship and residency (driver's license).

If you do a google search on nexus interview like the third or fourth said needed to bring the Papers for you car. So I mean nothing. Like you I thought the person was more important in the car. That why asked here

Google results are often wrong and in this case is wrong.

NEXUS does not have vehicle registration. Only SENTRI does. If you apply for SENTRI you are suppose to add vehicles you drive to your SENTRI profile. Those are the only vehicles you can drive thru SENTRI lanes entering the US from Mexico.

I say again, there is no vehicle registration for NEXUS. You can drive any vehicle you want thru NEXUS lanes including rental vehicles. During inspection when you are crossing the border, NEXUS or not, CBP/CBSA may confirm you have permission to operate the vehicle which can be proof of ownership or a rental agreement. This has nothing to do with NEXUS interview.

To be fair, there was vehicle registration in the distant past (at least for the first year or two). That was dropped by the 2nd renewal (so 2012?).

That sounds about right as I first had NEXUS in early 2013 and no mention of vehicle in the application.

We bought a new car in 2016 and I was concerned because our old car was listed in our NEXUS information. I asked NEXUS (we happen to live not far from the Blaine / Birch Bay WA office) and they said just to ignore it because it was no longer relevant. That seemed a little unsettling as there was inaccurate information on my form but it's never been a problem. We're coming up for renewal again in 2022 so I'm guessing they stopped collecting the vehicle information at some point before your original 2013 application.

Assume all google search are 50% right and wrong as that why go to many sites including the nexus gov.
I was finally able to get online at like 10:30 pm Pacific, on the day we were talking about website issues, I was able to print up our application information so we can bring it with us to the interview on Saturday.

I asked this same thing. They no longer collect vehicle info unless you intend to use SENTRI lanes. I actually originally enrolled in 2015 and they required my vehicle info then?

They also no longer require iris scans for Global Entry.

You mean iris scan for NEXUS? GE never utilized iris scans just fingerprints.
