You can check for interview availability (without needing to be logged in) at TTP - Schedule Appointment
This page includes a checkbox you can use to show locations with the soonest availability, although they tend to be few in number and near border towns.
You may also wish to consider:
Note also that a location that has literally zero availability for future interviews today, may pop up with available slots tomorrow (or even later today), presumably as people with scheduled appointments do EOA or walk-in thus freeing up their original time slot. So it may be worth checking back periodically.

You may also wish to consider:
- Enrollment on Arrival, which can be done while clearing immigration during international return to the US: Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival
- Some locations offer walk-in interviews even if you do not have an appointment: Global Entry Walk-In Interviews
- If you will be passing through MIA, their GE office nearly always has immediate availability and is open very late.

Hi! I was thrilled to see that they extended the time to have your GE interview, but I have a question. I live in the middle of the country and the closest sites listing availability are 12+ hours away, so at this point I will have to fly somewhere to interview. I live a few hours away from MCI and STL but there in no availability listed. Does anyone know if more sites Across the country will open up as we move past the July 6th date or will the availability of centers doing interviews stay as is? Probably a stupid question but I am contemplating booking a flight so I can interview and I would love to know if I just wait a bit there might be something closer

Checking several times a day at your preferred enrollment center/s will net you an appointment after enrollment centers are open. Cancellation occurs frequently.
Good luck.

Husband forgot his GE was expiring 9/20/19 so didn't apply for renewal prior to expiration. Apply for renewal on 9/24/19 and just today finally got conditional approval and will need an interview. We are in Bay Area and I am not seeing any appointments even starting this fall at SFO. Guess we will just keep checking.

All offices are closed until at least July 6th
You can't make any interview appointments that I know of.

I understand that thank you
but you think the website would reflect the extended time
mine just shows one year.

Good news is a lot of interview slots opened up.
I was able to schedule an appointment for July 6th at South Bend Indiana but another slot opened up at ORD so i reschedule to O'hare.
I would say the best time to check for the opening slot is after 3AM central time

There was a recent change in availability for the ORD Terminal 5 enrollment center. Based on a post in the GE renewal thread, I checked the availability and there currently are appointments available July 16 2020, and the weekdays (Mon - Fri) the next two weeks.
First decent availability I have seen at ORD in several months.

Interview cancelled at SFO. Looks like they won't do mid day interviews but will do early morning or late evening. Had to reschedule
