As discussed in the other thread, your NEXUS card should have been deactivated when you activated your new Global Entry card.

But I know now thanks to FlyerTalk.

On a positive note, I do have my expired NEXUS card back now, so I can try it next time I cross the border.
If your new Global Entry card has a later expiration date than your NEXUS card, your NEXUS card is null and void.

Hoping this doesn't go on too much longer, I'd like to schedule an interview. Hoping to catch a last minute cancel when I'm in YYZ at the end of the month, but I'm not holding my breath.
Argh, that means I won't have NEXUS/GE availability with 2 upcoming trips, LAX-YVR-YYJ-YVR-LAX and LAX-SFO-SJD-SFO-LAX in which I budgeted 90 minutes for Immigration and Customs / re-clearing security at SFO.

When did you apply for your NEXUS?

Worse case when you arrive SFO from SJD, use mobile passport app, https://www.mobilepassport.us/, as soon as you arrive SFO. Many reported mobile passport app process is very quick, almost as fast as Global Entry kiosk.

Good luck and please come back and let us know your end result.

Actually, there will be someone from CBP to interview you as well as someone from the CBSA.

Not sure anything has changed. I believe that the 'wait time' is still a few weeks at airport locations.

Yes and you have to schedule online. You can also do your interview in Seattle if you find yourself there; they usually have a much shorter wait.
Actually right now Seattle has a four month wait. Blaine has no wait as of today. Wonder why Seattle is so popular?

Welcome to FT. Convenience and proximity of SEA. Blaine is 127 miles north or 2 hours of driving each direction.

Vancouver also has two enrollment centers, with a seasonal third. People don't go to Blaine unless they really have to

The other two applications received conditional approval today, April 17. So 56 business days from date of application.

You should follow up. Cards typically take 1-2 weeks for delivery - pretty quick.
