List of Global Entry Enrollment Centers

Post your walk-in experiences in the Wiki. If you cannot update the Wiki, then please post in the thread, and someone will paste your data point. Please format it as such under the enrollment center where you attempted to walk-in:

Yes/No [If Yes, put how long you waited in brackets] (Date and time attempted)

If someone in your family had an appointment at that time, please note that, too.

Examples:
Yes [45m] (4/2/2016 10am w/ a family member who had an appointment)
Yes [2h] (4/18/2016 3pm)
No (5/2/2016 12pm w/ a family member who had an appointment)
Yes [25m] (5/10/2016 9am)

-----------------------------------------
Disclaimer: These are only data points. There is no guarantee you will be successful as a walk-in.

SFO 17 July 2016 9:00am - I walked in to do a ABTC Card final step (APEC Business Travel Card) which Global Entry requires to capture a signature.

There is a sign posted on the door where New Passports, APEC, and something called Broker are able to just tell the staff and you will be received after the next appointment.

There were about 8 people waiting for their scheduled appointments, but I was able to state my case and they let me in after the 3rd or 4th appointment was handled (at that time).

At that same time, incidentally, a lady came by with a new passport and she was also taken in pretty quickly.

I happen to have my Global Entry up for Renewal. The officer who took my signature for the APEC card said that the renewals would randomly select people for interviews.

ATL in airport, scheduled for August, showed up early for a flight today and was called back within 45 minutes.

Officer said walk-ins welcome but no guarantee and they wouldn't give an estimate of time, they just make you sit in there. A few other walk ins while I was there, mostly people on long connections or who got there early. About half had planned enough time, others I saw come in and leave.

I have my $608 ($100 + $508 airfare) GE interview tomorrow in EWR. Driving from Waterville, ME at 6:30 for PWM flight to EWR that will get me there at 11:30. My appointment is at 5pm, then I have to wait till a 10pm flight back to PWM and an hour and a half drive after that. Would people who have done it through Newark suggest I show up at the office upon arrival and kindly, gently, politely throw myself on their mercy? There are earlier flights back to Portland, but only if I get in no later than 4pm. Also if that doesn't work is it worth it to buy a one-day UA pass for gate A25 after my interview? I haven't flown UA in 35 years. Thanks in advance.

STL - yes w/a family member who had an appointment ( 7/20/16)

Spouse had an appt a few days later, was laid back about interviewing together.

Started late and plenty of people waiting, but was going through them quick. worth a shot if in the area.

GOES

Walked in at SEA airport today.

Wife and I had GOES confirmation letters and passports in tow.
I was in and out in 25 minutes.

CBP officer couldn't have been more helpful.

Wife was denied. She had a misdemeanor in past 10 yrs.
She had fully disclosed it prior to application and in interview. He said we could appeal.

Did you and your wife walk in at SEA with an appointment for today or without an appointment for today?

Had my GE interview today at BNA, wife came without appointment. They were able to get her in, but we had to wait quite a while. Overall a good experience.

You are very fortunate. Two people tried unsuccessfully at BNA. Maybe you had an appointment which may have made a difference.

They also told another woman that she could wait. She thought she had an appointment, but messed up the date or something. I think it just depends on who you get. There were two officers processing GE - a white guy and an african american woman. The woman was extremely nice and told both my wife and the no appointment lady that they could wait. The guy was a bit more gruff and just said it probably wouldn't happen because they were so far behind. But he never directly said no.

Neither of them were who I spoke on the phone with a couple days ago who said absolutely no walk-ins.

passport agencies accept walk ins even though they clearly publish 'appointment required'

what is published / said is not really relevant vs what actual procedures are (because of that)

great post >
