The 2006 is a powerful, refined and expressive Champagne, this vintage is showing citrus fruit aromas, lime blossom and notes of caramelised grapefruit. It has a great length and complexity and is a perfect wine to begin a fine meal, yet could be enjoyed throughout. White Heemskerk Riesling 2017, Tasmania Heemskerk is a boutique winery located in Tasmania's Coal River Valley devoted to producing contemporary wines from ancient soils. This Riesling is a blend of two great vineyards presenting lifted aromatics of white flowers and citrus blossom. As a delicate expression of what can be an austere varietal, the palate is soft and plush with beautiful acidity and length. Gembrook Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Yarra Valley, Victoria Ian and June Marks decided that this vineyard was ideal for cool climate Sauvignon Blanc and went on to produce one of the most elegant examples of the varietal in Australia. Sensitivity in the vineyard develops exotic tropical fruits, balancing them with savoury herbs and wild currant leaf. A deft hand in the winery results in gentle texture and weight making this a mineral wine with true finesse. Tolpuddle Vineyard Chardonnay 2016, Tasmania Toldpuddle is Shaw and Smith's venture into the cooler climates of Tasmania and the results are evolving with every harvest. The 2016 vintage is an outstanding example of Australian Chardonnay and showcases the beautiful, modern style that is creating new fans worldwide. This wine is well toned, with white peach, grapefruit and toasted almond notes and the aroma is so intense that you will find something new every time you swirl the glass. The palate has great structure and length. Red Tolpuddle Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017, Tasmania Tolpuddle Vineyard was established in 1988 in the Coal River Valley, Tasmania. The 2017 Pinot Noir is ruby red with crimson tints at the rim. A beautifully scented wine., with hints of blueberry, cedar and Chinese five spice. The palate is light on it's feet, with a firm core of fruit and a layered texture. Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz 2015, Barossa Valley, South Australia In addition to the 150 years of winemaking that the Henschke family has given to the Barossa and Eden Valleys, the Henschke Family Brass Band was an early fixture based in the Barossa town of Keyneton. Fittingly, this wine is blend of parts similar to a symphony. It merges Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc sourced from both the Eden and Barossa valleys, and aged in a variety of barrel sizes and sources. Woodlands "Russell" Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Margaret River, Western Australia Each year the Woodlands Cabernet Sauvignon is named after a different Watson family member. The wine is produced from the same vines that were planted over 50 years ago in Margaret River by the Watson family in 1973. This is an elegant, medium to full-bodied wine, with a lovely mix of blackcurrant, mulberry and dark cherry. The palate has fine, tight tannins and structural finesse. Dessert Lillypilly Noble Blend 2015, Riverina, New South Wales This is one stunningly aromatic dessert wine with tropical fruits and glorious fresh vital passionfruit, lychees and pineapple.
