This seduces with small dark crushed berries, lifted spices of pepper and clove. Tim Kirk has created a perfect illustration of Shiraz Viognier showing that elegance does not need to compromise power and length. The fine grained tannins are immaculate and add to the depth and persistence of the wine. Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Margaret River, Western Australia A single vineyard wine that has evolved over more than 40 years, this vintage proudly displays the opulence of the region. Appearing bright crimson, the nose is restrained yet, complex with red and black berries along with fine savoury elements of smoke, bay and cedar. The palate shows classic cassis with hints of juniper; has fine, tight tannins and structural finesse. Dessert Lillypilly Noble Blend 2015, Riverina, New South Wales This is one stunningly aromatic dessert wine with tropical fruits and glorious fresh vital passionfruit, lychees and pineapple.
