OMG, I could stay up all night reading these lucscious menu's. I'm dying of hunger now. I have a first class seat on NWA to Cancun from Detroit. They'll likely throw some baked chips and cookies at us. A good meal is so a decades ago. Thanks for taking the time to put these menu's together...

Thanks for dredging up this old thread, Kitty. As opposed to the menu listing up in the Stickies which features current services, this one offers more of a historical context. Have a great trip to Cancun. Here's a Western Airlines menu offering Fiesta Service aboard a Boeing 720B between Los Angeles and Mexico City back in 1975.

I've come across an Air India First Class Menu that is undated but I think is from the late 1970s. Sadly, the route is not specified either, but here it is:

In September I was given a First Class Menu for Pope John Paul II's flight from Perth to Rome in 1986, which made a refuelling stop at the Seychelles. The flight was operated by Qantas on a 747SP. Here's the menu:

Here's a National Airlines menu from 1969, aboard a DC-8 between Miami and Los Angeles. Their First Class cabins sat 20 passengers in wide, plush seats that were much more comfortable than today's lightweight domestic First Class seats. And the food - much better!
