Where does the KVS tool get its data and is KVS authorized to provide this data in the manner it is presented?

The tool is known to access a variety of web sites, many in a manner that is not authorized. Please see the next section of this Wiki for a list of sites believed to be accessed and their data access policies (where known).

Additionally, under some conditions the tool appears to access sites via a KVS-operated back end. This means that the tool is not just a 'web browser' that runs via a user's machine. No detailed public information is available about how this works or whether any of this back-end access is authorized.

The procedure is actually the same for Regular bookings:
Simple itineraries can be booked online.
For complex itineraries, you would need to call the airline and provide the Fare and Flight information to the Res Agent.

I am new to this program, and i was using it without any problems, and from yesterday when I tried to see availability for a flight it show me an error "The requested Method requires GTC membership Credentials" and I have a Diamonf membership, don't know what I am doing wrong or something is missing?
Any help?

KVS: CX award availability for AA different from BA?

Please don't flame, I did search for an answer.

I used KVS to search BA for an award on CX and found availability for a flight (CX889 JFK-YVR-HKG in F). When I called AA, I was told that there wasn't availability for JFK-HKG, only for JFK-YVR and that their availability was different from what I could see on BA or QF and that they encountered this with customers all they time. The CSR was very nice about it, found me availability on JFK-HKG non-stop redeye a few hours later and took care of everything for me, but I was surprised about the statement that availability for AA would be different than what I could see using QF or BA. I thought this was only a "StarNet blocking" problem with UA.

Is the discrepancy that the flight I found was direct (JFK-YVR-HKG) instead of nonstop?

Yeah, I just saw that, but it doesn't explain this, since I just tried that and it still shows availability for CX889 on 7/17/14 as FS1 for JFK-HKG, but FS0 for JFK-YVR, which is exactly opposite what the AA CSR told me on the phone 4 hours ago, that there was a seat for JFK-YVR, but not for JFK-HKG on that flight.

I don't know, but that explanation makes sense. In general, AA shouldn't have different OW partner award availability than BA or QF or JL or anyone else, right? They don't block availability on partners?

One other question. On the third screen, (the JFK-HKG search), it shows CX889 as FS0 as part of a CX889->CX837 connection (which is what I was talking about in post #3, that there was no availability on JFK-YVR), but in your first screen (the JFK-YVR search), it shows FS1. Is that because the connecting flight (CX837) doesn't have F?
