I'm using the "Awards/StarAlliance" search method

The [Awards/StarAlliance] Method in the KVS Tool is more authoritative than UA.com.

If it shows that Award Seats are available, then you can call UA MP to book them (regardless of what UA.com does or does not show).

Thanks for your quick response. Is this true for all *A carriers as well? For example, I searched 31 OCT 2014 for LHR-YUL. UA.com shows Saver Business available for AC865, but KVS only shows Saver Coach. Awards/AC-StarAlliance also shows only Saver Coach. Which is correct?

Registration code
 
I think I may closed some windows to quickly! I just signed up at the diamond level and haven't received a registration code. I think I saw window addressing this but instead of making it bigger I closed it. Any suggestions.

No, that is not a service KVS offers. My understanding is that the BA-OneWorld method essentially uses your BA Executive Club credentials to run a search directly on the BA website when you click to search, and presents the output in a compact format. It does not cache your BA credentials or run automatic checks from time to time.

I'm late to this because I just noticed the charges for taxes for my renewal.

It doesn't matter where the online payments provider is located. In California, only goods are taxed, not services. The KVS Tool is a service and should not be taxed to California residents.

AA.com shows availability, KVS does not
 
I ran a test search using Awards/OneWorld and Awards/BA-OneWorld.

It was:
ZRH->JFK, 14 JUL 2014.
No filter
Everything else default.

In both queries, AA.com shows availability (BA719,BA179; BA719, BA189) for 4+ passengers.

In KVS it says "No Award Availability / Route Too Complex" when I try Awards/BA-OneWorld.

When I try Awards/OneWorld I get (BA715, BA187). This doesn't show up at all on AA.com

Can anyone help reconcile the differences?
