All rows of F seat maps not displaying
 

Lately (at least for DL)the system will not display all rows of DL F seat maps even if seats are available in that row.
Eample DL 1600 ATL-BOS Dec 16 it will not display row 6 even though row 6 is empty and has 4 open seats.
If you use the graphical option (that goes to Delta.com)it says the seat map is not available and to call DL.
But if you go to Delta.com and select the flight the seat map is readily available.

A new solution for the [GTC] Engine will be activated in Beta mode within the next 24-48 hours...

Those are all the rows that DL's system is currently willing to provide (for whatever reason) -- unfortunately, there is no way for us to 'force' it to display add'l rows.

The Graphical option does work -- just be sure that you are running the latest KVS Tool version and that you have pop-up blockers disabled.

The AC engine did not support ET Award Availability at the time of the OP, but it does now.

As mentioned in the top post, this thread is dedicated specifically to the KVS Tool.

Am I the only one experiencing on "AC-Award search" on *A a timeout?

Must be a transient issue with the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] engine -- please try again and advise if the issue persists.

New user, basic question. I'm trying to check *alliance availability for end of Nov 2012 and I keep getting an error message about 330 days out. Is there no way for me to search for availability then?

Fares/TVN method seems to only be showing fares without an advance purchase requirement.

What routes are you searching and what is the error message?

How do you search for availability of upgrades/awards on a specific AA flight, without it dumping you into OneWorld partners?

Was hoping if you all could help me out real quick. Just bought a platinum subscription membership to KVS. When I try to search for something under the awards/upgrade tab it yields the following result "The selected feature is not availible in the Platinum-tier version of the Tool and requires a Diamond-tier membership".

Is this correct? I thought platinum had access to this tool as well. Or am I doing something wrong.

Click on the Membership/Registration button and then choose Upgrade/Renew Membership
- what each membership level gives you will then be displayed

Which specific method are you trying to use? Examples are:

• SNT: Awards/StarAlliance
• ITA: Awards-Upgrades/UA
• Amadeus: Awards:OneWorld

And what are you trying to search for (Airline, Award, Upgrade, etc)?

When I try to DL the tool, my firewall prevents me from doing so, claiming it is a harmfull site. Is this true?

To add content- No I do not believe this is a harmful tool. There are over 100 pages in this thread, that would be a very elaborate scheme to get at your family photos.

I had the same issue. Thought Platinum would be what I needed but had to upgrade to Diamond to get that to work for BA flights. Would be interested to hear the response from the KVS rep.

Classes, any way to check for premium economy
 

Hi, I tend to buy premium economy on BA and then use miles/avios to upgrade to business. The availability search on the KVS tool has options for economy, business and first. Is there any way to search for premium economy fares?

Use AA.com. Since KVS screen scrapes from the QF and BA award search tools, you will get oneworld partner results mixed in if it is a route that is flown by partners other than AA. This is also only for awards, KVS doesn't support C,X,R upgrade inventory classes.

Do the search there, then look in the HTML source on the results page and you'll see all the class codes.

The answer is concealed in the KVS site. Go here: http://www.kvstool.com/MembershipLev...OME-L#Features then where it says "Features: Summary View" choose Detailed view from the drop down. You'll then see that oneworld:BA & JL are Diamond only. Too bad that's not clearer.

It also looks like that two of the features that have been turned off by the source websites: Availability:GTC and ITA Fare Search, both required a high level of contribution. Also the Fares:TVN method that was just turned off by Travelocity was the only fare search method that a Gold member could use. With those loss of features, it looks like a realignment of what's included at what level should be forthcoming.

KVS Registration e-mail
 

How long should it take to get a registration email? I've received the Order "Confirmation" (with Order ID) email and the "Contribution" confirmation/receipt email. Should I be looking for a 3rd?
I have installed the app, Clicked "Request Registration Code", completed the Registration Wizard, and I've checked my Spam folder.
The whole process seems a little convoluted so any feedback is appreciated!

Can someone help me with a tutorial on how to display or calculate out award tickets when trying to combine DL flights with KL or AF flights? I can see where I can price out DL award flights to display miles and Also the KL/AF awards to display FB miles, etc....
How do I know what that cost will be when booking/combining DL and AF/KL flights?

Is there a way to search for upgrade availability (O bucket) for US Airways on award blackout dates?

Just installed the newest version, diamond level, and I keep getting 12029 errors when trying to use the "find flights with this fare" feature. There is no personal firewall, my anti-virus is disabled, I don't use a proxy, and I even tried lowering IEs security settings to essentially nothing. It refuses to work. The entire rest of the program works great, only that one feature gives me errors. Any thoughts?
