AeroLOPA - Making sense of airline seat maps
A promising site for all of us who have repeatedly been frustrated by SeatGuru's inaccuracies and out of date seat maps.
aeroLOPA
aeroLOPA was born in 2021 out of an obsession of aircraft seating charts spanning over twenty years, originally inspired by the beautifully crafted diagrams published by many of the North American carriers in the 1980/90s. With the transition to digital publishing, airlines now tend to display only the most rudimentary amount of information, often highly abstract in presentation.
Our goal is to provide you accurate aircraft seating plans that flesh out the detail, the nuances, and unique conditions so you are better informed when it comes to selecting seats on your next American Airlines and British Airways flights. Starting with the airlines we know most intimately; our aim is to add new airlines in the future but we will only ever publish information that we know is accurate and reliable.

Great resource, it is now my go to.
How can I point out opportunities for rectification?
I cannot see such a link/reference on the web site ...

Prospero is indeed an owner of the site, however, there is a link to a Contact form on aeroLOPA's home page at the of bottom of menu on the left side; in the alternative, you can email them:

If there are any seating diagrams that are not quite right, I'd love to hear about it

I flew on this aircraft in Premium Economy the other day DUB-PHL. The position of the curtains below -

... are incorrect. I've marked them as they actually are (well, the one on the port side is a guess as I never saw it).
The upshot is, Premium Economy use the toilets in their cabin (as do people from economy who move forward) but the transparent curtain stops them (us!) from entering the galley, where the business class snacks are laid out during flight.
A minor, minor detail, but perhaps an important one.
Also, the windows - there was none in the starboard toilet (L side, I was in 6L) and the one beside it which is half in the toilet and half out, is also a blank. Could be the same on the other side (is for the half window anyway!)
Keep up the excellent work!

This is interesting. The cabin photos I have of the AA 787-8 (block 1) date back a few years and do clearly show curtains along the line of the PE forward bulkhead. However, the curtains are further forward in the 787-8T, the newer block 2 variant which has Super Diamond seats in Business. Sounds like the curtain in the block 1 aircraft moved forward to match the block 2 type
The DUB-PHL are usually always Concept D aircraft and I didn't look to check, I just assumed it was. I also didn't know of that variation with regards to the arrangement around PE on the Block 2 aircraft, I figured they were the same apart from the business class seats.
I'm flying PE back again on Saturday night on a 787-8 so I'll make note and come back to you

Sorry for the confusion!

It is a Concept D aircraft in business class, Premium Economy was the same as outlined above - same as the Block 2 version.
The curtain position between Premium Economy and Business are the same as the Super Diamond version, ditto the windows not being in the toilets etc - per my original post on it.
Hope that helps anyway!

Can't seem to find a thread for this in the VS forum so flagging this here for Prospero — the VS A330-900neo seat map is missing a lavatory behind 2R (it should have the same configuration as the 333 with 1 lav on the left and 2 on the right, and incidentally the seatmap on the VS website is also inaccurate):

As proof here is G-VTOM:

Prospero
You may wish to know that one of the US-Titans has spread word of your great creation
https://onemileatatime.com/guides/ae...comment-300386
Yet has forgot to do research that you all were responsible as orginal creators.....
So let me be the one to set the omission straight by saying :
from all travellers out there to you guys "thank you"
from me personally blessed with a weak bladder "triple thank you"

It's just great to know people are finding the site useful.
I actually implemented a major change to the menu structure earlier today, so now when you select an airline from the alphabetical menu it now takes you directly to a dedicated page and from there you can select any seap map from the full fleet, which hopefully will save a few precious seconds when navigating between aircraft types
