A3 availability is again not working? I tried it several times and get the flight at the results but not the availability.

I'm late hearing about BA accounts being locked as a result of using KVS Tool. Where can I find more information on this issue, and is it possible to unlock one's BA account? Thanks!

This seems to be a KVS/BA method quirk as if I use the BA site directly it works. It seems availability has improved recently to/from Australia and DOH or there was some IT issue with searching previously. I have not tried to make a booking via AA - just searching for future reference when looking for options to/from Europe. |

Is the search for CX down?
Looks like even the simplest search, eg TPE_HKG on 26 Feb yields an error message of RD-1-4? |

However when I try a second search it returns a "Datasource RD-1-1 Error Validating Javascript Engine error" I've upgraded to Version 7.9.1.R2 but still encounter the same problem on two different computers. OneWorld search - no JAL
My apology if this has been asked before, but the OneWorld search, through QF, does it cover JAL? I've never seen JAL option displayed.
I also never gotten the BA option working correctly. Error message about 'exceeded velocity limit' or something along that line. |

Did you check American's web site or JL's own Web site (which seems to coincide with what BA shows)? |

downloaded the latest version and the setup won't run, just stalls and cursor spins , can't even stop the process through task manager

Anybody know what's up with KVS tools? I made a contribution and never got a temporary or permanent registration, even after a 10 days. Brief messages sent using the contact form was to no avail either.

Well I signed up for this tool specifically because it supported CX and JL, the region most drastically hurt by the upcoming AAdvantage changes. I was able to find some good info for my outbound FS awards, but now trying to search for the return on JL, I keep getting the Velocity Limits error and nobody it seems has any real fix. Someone mentioned seeing a CAPTCHA request but I do not have this.
First error comes up as "You have exceeded the Velocity Limits of the Awards/BA-OneWorld engine If you hit ok , then you get Data Source Error RW-1 Does anyone know how to fix this????????????? |

So thanks for your input, but my question still stands. The Awards/BA-Oneworld engine simply logs on to BA.com and does an award search, parses the information and displays it. For at least the past year BA has introduced Captchas (possibly due to excessive automated use against their T&C's...) when doing many award searches in quick succession. But whenever a website changes how the information is displayed, or introduces different Captchas etc (possibly to stop this sort of automated screen scraping) until KVS Tool is updated to deal with it, certain functions may not work. KVS Tool will display exactly what an award search on BA.com will show when using that option. Nothing more, nothing less. The other KVS oneworld award searches use Qantas.com, Jal.com and CathayPacific.com. You are paying for something that screen scrapes free information, that may automate login/searches and parse it in to a common format. |

I am having issues again with A3 availabilty using KVSmobile.

I have tried several times to download version 7.9.8 (because when I tried to search for AA upgrade availability I was told the version I downloaded about a month ago no longer supports this function). The setup file downloads, but then when I click on it it doesn't open. Worse, it then hangs around in my system, and if I've clicked on it several times there are several identical versions in the system. "End Process" and "End Proces Tree" in Windows Task Manager do not succeed in shutting it down. Is problem specific to my computer, or are others having similar experiences? Any suggestions about what I might do? (I have of course tried turning the machine on and off.)

Also, while I'd appreciate any suggestions the KVS Tool management might have, I would also appreciate any suggestions or comments from other users. What is error Data Source Error "R" and "TVLID" ? It says to try again later. I didn't see anything specific on this on the KVS website, but is it related to the note about JL MB Americas accounts? Is this being fixed?
