- Upgrades - AY, BA, EK, EY, IB, QR, VS
- Awards - AY, BA, IB, EY, QR, VS
To search AA upgrades:
- Use the Award & Upgrade tool
- Only search for individual segments (set the "Connection Preference" drop-down to "Direct/Non-Stop only"). Flight results that are part of a connection won't show the upgrade version of C or A inventory because AA only files upgrade inventory as individual, not married, segments. (Married segments show revenue inventory instead of upgrade inventory.)
- To avoid confusion, check the "Exclude Codeshares" box, as AA awards and upgrades are not valid on codeshares.

Since you think it might be JavaScript related, try disabling JavaScript to see if that make a difference?

No. - They seem to be refreshing the website via JavaScript.
I guess to either keep that auth0 stuff alive or properly align their design or lazy-load other stuff.
This happens on multiple different systems and browsers.
E.g. you navigate to inventory search, quickly start typing and after 1-3 seconds your input is completely gone because they reloaded the complete website.
When you fire up developer tools you notice that they initated the reload on their own from one of their JavaScripts.
I guess to either keep that auth0 stuff alive or properly align their design or lazy-load other stuff.

JL Information on EF not Accurate
I have two JL flights roundtrip HNL-HND-HNL on 10/30 (JL 71) and 11/23 (JL74). EF shows some open J seats, while JL's website shows them unavailable. .I reached out to my travel agent, and they confirmed these supposedly open seats are unavailable. ExpertFlyer Voice , any reason/fix for this?

Hi All - Quick updates on a few recent launches:
- "Keep Active" Alerts for Schedule and Aircraft Changes if you opt for it, these alerts will now continue notifying you through departure rather than triggering once and going silent.
- AI Insights in Flight Status We added an AI interpretation layer to Flight Status that gives you a cleaner read on what is happening during IROPS, without having to parse through raw delay commentary.
- Multi-Alert Creation (Limited Rollout) Some of you will start seeing a "Create Multiple Alerts" widget in Awards and Upgrades. We are rolling this out gradually, so access is not universal yet. If you have it, let us know what you think.

I have two JL flights roundtrip HNL-HND-HNL on 10/30 (JL 71) and 11/23 (JL74). EF shows some open J seats, while JL's website shows them unavailable. .I reached out to my travel agent, and they confirmed these supposedly open seats are unavailable. ExpertFlyer Voice , any reason/fix for this?

False and No Notifications for HA/SA
Got a false notification yesterday:This is a notification that your Flight Schedule Alert "SEA to YYJ Alert" has detected a change in the flight schedule.
I then looked at EF for the following: scheduled notificatoin
HNL to SEA AS142Depart 06/24/26 9:20 PM
Arrive 06/25/26 6:00 AM
Actual HA/AS schedule has changed to:
No notification received. Currently scheduled for Departing at 11:20 PM and arriving at 8;00 AM. Went to EF site and resubmitted querry, and same false information given
ExpertFlyer Voice , what is going on?

All AI tools hallucinate and should not be trusted, but ExpertFlyer's new AI flight status summary is maybe one of the worst I've seen! Beware, and shame on ExpertFlyer for releasing something so obviously unusable?
"The flight departed at 1:32pm, 6 minutes later than the scheduled time of 1:20pm", when it actually departed 6 minutes earlier at 1:14pm, and also, 1:32pm is not 6 minutes after 1:20pm even if that is what happened!
The flight did not land at 3:49pm (that time is nowhere in the source data, the AI just made it up!). It was also never scheduled to arrive at 3:43pm!

LH345 Departure date March 5 2026 does not show up in Expertflyer Flight Details / Flight Status at all.
United app does, for instance, show this flight and so does Lufthansa's website.
