Unfortunately, IB’s seat map did not show and their own agents wouldn’t say free seats existed.

Update:
  • The remaining fixes for QF have now been completed. The non-existent seats that we were showing in our seat maps have been addressed.
  • We found the root cause for the 500 error some of you reported and deployed a fix yesterday. If you still encounter it, please let us know.
  • We're also finalizing the ability to see fares for all available dates on Fare Information, along with keyboard navigation improvements to streamline your workflows.

I'm now having to log in... every_single_time I go to the site, and there appears to be no way to save my login info. Full website interface.

Expertflyer needs to focus on making their niche product as best as it can be, and not try to be something that other products already do.

I know what the value of EF is for me and I value the data. The problem with the redesign is that accessing the data has become more complicated than it was before.
The fare search or flight availability origin and destination pickers update the field content from the three letter code to the airport name. When you click into the text field to update it the text reverts back to the short code. Before you could tab into the text field and just start typing since the old text was marked and thus would be overwritten. This behavior changed and breaks know patterns.

EF could have asked the niche users that are paying for their input.

Same here. Cookies seem to expire very quickly.

I seem to be getting ghost fare availability with BA.

LGW-PFO Aug 15, returning Aug 24.

EF says there are 4 seats with a D fare on Aug 24 and it keeps sending me alerts with this information (yesterday and today).

BA seems to disagree and only returns C seats?

I’ve searched whilst being logged into BA and also whilst being logged out.

Any ideas?

Not us—this was a change on the end from one of our data providers.

Update:
  • The issue with missing POS from the alert emails has now been fixed
  • "Show fares for all travel dates" has now been reinstated in the Fare Information form
  • The issue with same-day American Airlines seat maps has also been addressed
We are still working on restoring BA 24-hour seat maps and expect to have a clear timeline soon. Thank you!

What is the status of the JAL blocked seats (at least in F on the 773) showing as occupied (sent you a PM 7/31 with details)? Is this the same issue as the BA blocked vs occupied and do you have an update on a fix? Thanks!
