The RBD mapping lookup no longer works: "This feature is temporarily unavailable while we make some improvements."
That's a feature I use quite often and am missing. Is there any way to get this back?

I am in exactly the same boat - I am going to try out flyercopilot in the meantime.

All the best to the team at expertflyer, I hope that you are able to turn things around. The biggest issue for me was the lack of communication around these problems.

Hi Rolandrat - Sending you a PM to restore your account access (you should have had it until month-end).

On the BA seat maps - we're pushing our data providers but unfortunately we have no ETA yet. Will post an update here once we know more.

Hi ExpertFlyer Voice

I have the following 2 issues:

Issue 1

With QF seat maps, First cabin maps are not loading for flights departing in the next ~24 hours. You get an error:"The requested information could not be retrieved or is not available. This is likely due to invalid input criteria or lack of access to the information from the airline. Please revise the search parameters and try again."

Business, Premium Economy and Economy seat maps are not impacted and display fine.
Example URL to reproduce:

Issue 2

I have my Date Format in my preferences set to dd/mm/yy. Throughout the UI, this mostly works fine - however this particular component in the UI still displays it as mm/dd/yy. Flight Availability, Awards & Upgrades etc screens are impacted. I reported this during the beta testing but didn't hear anything back yet.

We will fix this, thanks for flagging!

No UA Award searching - or temp bug?

SO was doing the trial, raised in a ticket a question about difficulty with UA not populating.

Ticket response was "Sorry, we're going to remove that".

SO was the real answer (that wasn't stated) that UA Award searching is not supported?

ExpertFlyer Voice Last week, I sent a request via the web form to change my membership to annual from monthly. Never heard back.

What do I need to do to give you more of my money? 😀

I wanted to draw your attention to this post in the BA Forum:
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/37256452-post26.html

TL-DR it talks about the difference in availability between Point of Sale, and Point of Commencement. Lufthansa Group and now BA have moved to PoC so availability displays in Expertflyer using PoS are now no longer accurate.

Feature Request - please can you add in a field that allows you to specify the PoC for an availability search.

I fear that without this, EF will become increasingly unreliable for us European folk that travel LHG and IAG airlines. I’m sure AFKL will follow suit in the not too distant future.

Hi EF, thank you for fixing the seat alert issue where we could only set an alert for one seat at a time on BA.

Here’s something new - BA664 is showing Y9 on August 15 but the seat map is saying there’s only 1 seat left. Is this because the blocked seats are still showing as occupied and this issue has yet to be fixed? Screenshots attached.

Are there blocked seats showing as occupied by EF on this map? Yes, a ton (source: seats.aero). However,, even if the seat map were accurate you cannot guarantee to match that up to availability. Some people may not have assigned seats yet. There could be oversale. But yes, the biggest problem with the EF map you show is that they still have not fixed the bug with blocked seats showing as occupied.

Thank you - that’s what I thought (ironic really as I was the first to report the blocked seats showing as occupied!).

Cannot log in at all on the website - I enter my username/password and it just goes in a loop back to the expertflyer.com homepage. Click on 'sign in' and nothing happens, just the same page reloads.
Cleared cookies, tried private browser same result.

Worked ok last time I checked about 5 hours ago - now can't do a thing.

Edit: As of this morning login is working again

Hello EF,

PFO-LGW Aug 24 - BA2781. I received an email alert saying R class availability is available but when I go to check, it most definitely isn’t with C being the lowest and this is despite the EF Flight Availability results still showing R. Screenshots attached.

Is there an R fare filed f:confused:r the route you are looking at and if so have you met whatever the fare conditions are for it?

I found one BA R fare filed on that route with code RNV2OMR ... one of the conditions states, "THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING BA FLIGHTS 2530 THROUGH 2899." You were looking at BA2781 ... I didn't look in detail at the other R filings. I suspect this sort of thing is why you are not seeing what you expect.

Yes and Yes but this was a question for EF as their system says R is available. Many thanks.

See above - I edited my p:ost while you were replying.

FWIW, the next "R" fare in the list has this restriction: "THE FARE COMPONENT MUST INCLUDE TRAVEL FROM/TO/VIA LON ON VIA INTERNATIONAL SECTORS ON ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING BA FLIGHTS 300 THROUGH 999."
