Hi Adam - We'll take a look at this one and get back to you. Thank you for flagging!

Hi EF, sadly, the workaround to view BA seats within 24 hours of travel on Sri Lankan’s site has now been turned off as I just witnessed for my flight today. When are you expecting to have seat viewing functionality fixed or given that this last loophole has since closed, is this now a permanent issue in your opinion? Many thanks.

Inconsistent triggering of alert awards on EK

Hi,

A query for EK501 on 6 Nov shows 7 seats available in O class (as in screenshot below). Soon after setting an alert for less than 4 seats it triggers.

I have reset it and it triggers again

This is a notification that your Flight Alert "ek501" has located less than 4 availability opening(s) at this time.

For: EK501/Business - Non-partner/Flex Award (O)
From: BOM to DXB
Date: 06/11/25 04:15
Point of Sale: India

I'm curious about your scheduled and estimated dates: February 2025--hasn't that passed?

I got some weird notification for 2026 of an already taken flight that was taken in 2025. ExpertFlyer Voice never addressed my question about it.

This is most definitely NOT fixed for me. Saved queries are not appearing in alphabetical order.

I should clarify that Saved Queries ARE alphabetical on the desktop version but ARE NOT alphabetical on the app/mobile version.

Soon, we are making progress on this but still do not want to confirm a timeline. This is still a top prio for our team.

We are sending you a PM to troubleshoot.

Hi 747 - These are separate issues. I assume his date format is set as DD/MM/YY which is why it might seem the date has passed but at the time of posting it was still valid.

In regards, to the alert issue you encountered, we are hoping to release the fix tomorrow morning. Apologies for the delay.

In terms of the ISL vs IST, it's related to how one of our data partners is labeling their airport codes - We can fix this.

Hope this helps!

Hi EF,

Getting this error message when searching for any combo of routes on the fare information tab. All other tabs working fine...

Thanks for any help.

BA UPDATE: Access to BA seat maps within 24hrs of departure and accurate blocked vs occupied seats for status holders has now been restored

S80 Oct 8, 2025 8:26 pm

It seems like the site is unable to create schedule change alerts when seat maps aren't available for that airline. When I click in the flight timetable results, nothing happens, and when I put in info directly into creating an alert, it gives an error that the flight info isn't available.

TheDudeAbides Oct 9, 2025 9:18 am

I am not receiving notifications. Looking in my alerts list on EF, EF indicates that I have been notified, but no Email alerts have been received at either of my listed Emails. I have tested this several times. Emails are not going to spam/junk (I have checked for that). They appear to not have been sent, yet EF indicates "notified". What is going on here? Alerts are only meaningful if they're actually received and if they're received in a timely way. EFV?

Hi S80 - Do you mind sending us a specific example via PM?

This is unexpected - Will send troubleshooting steps PM.
