Weird EF notification.

Finished a HA flight yesterday. Today, got a flight schedule alert about a time change after the conclusion of the flight. Here is the change post of the notification:

New Flight Schedule:
  • For: HA5
  • From: LAS to HNL
  • Departing: 09/19/25 18:05
  • Arriving: 09/19/26 21:22

ExpertFlyer Voice , was this an HA or EF error?

Creating individual alerts for each of the classes (C, J, R, D, I, Y, B, H, K, M, L, G, V, S, N, Q, O) for a single flight is currently painful. Perhaps a modified GUI to pre-populate the dropdown with the different fare classes plus an "any/all" option? Or even a multi-select control would work. (but ANY would be quickest)

This is useful for frequent travelers that are looking for alternate flights that are currently sold out- I've used it successfully to find space, but had to create over a dozen alerts for each flight of interest

.... Unless there is a way to do it, and I don't know how

Typically the full fare bucket will open if there is any availability. So for AA, you really only would need alerts for J and Y. Still not quite as easy as your request, but if you just want to know if ANY seats are available, this should do it.

Pretty easy way that should work is just to look for F/Y/J booking class availability. Though the exact fare class may depend on the airline, you'd need to look for the most expensive booking class for each cabin.

[ok, missed the post just above stating the same]

Looks like there were some issues yesterday, which were apparently fixed, but looks like more problems.

Not fixed for over a month

- CX seat maps showing blocked as occupied, terrible as within 48 hours all open seats become blocked, so effectively EF seatmaps and alerts on CX are completely at T-48 hours

- Flight duration for individual segments on connections, first segment now shows as 0:00 and second segment showing the total elapsed time instead of individual.

Seems to be the same for SQ too. SQ seat maps showing blocked as occuped too.

We're aware of the issues with EF this morning regarding searches returning no results. We're looking into this. Will keep this thread updated.

Update: we've identified the issue and are working on a fix. Should be resolved in the next few hours. Will update once fixed.

I am unable to renew my ExpertFlyer annual subscription. I have tried multiple credit cards Amex, Mastercard and Visa but to no avail. I emailed support as well but no fix so far.

To work around this, I would like to purchase a gift card and then redeem it against a subscription. Where can I buy one?

Update: issue has been fixed and searches should all be working again. This was related to the bug we had on Friday with Flight Availability. Was not related to the Quick Alerts feature released last week.

Yes, this approach works well for me.
