Is it just me or is EF not displaying seat map properly for Air Canada? Yesterday morning seat map shows 20 open seats in business class, checked randomly late at night and shows all occupied. I called concierge and they confirm business class shows atleast 9 seats open. I checked availability and shows J9, but seat map shows otherwise.
This is for a May 5th, 2026 flight so trying to plan upgrade options accordingly. Anyone else experiencing air canada seat map issue on EF? thanks |
I'm having issues with the website loading/refreshing flight availability as of yesterday. I have a variety of saved searches, and once I have flight availability info already displayed for any search, if I use my saved search pulldown list and select one, the page doesn't update. I have to manually refresh it to get the saved search results to appear.

I have an aircraft change alert for a UA flight and have gotten change notifications, but there is no actual change from a 777-300ER to a 777-300ER. The notification says that "If the New Aircraft code is the same as the old, then we have detected a change in the cabin configuration." But UA only flies 1 configuration of 773?

Received notification that my EF subscription has expired. Considering annual cost went up 30% (from $100 to $131.88), yet the features that consistently work is less than when the subscription was $100, I’m out. I did my best to support and defend this, even in light of so many things not working. Will continue to monitor, and if things improve will resubscribe. Or drop the annual fee back to $100. Until then I will create my own automations and generate my own seat alerts.

I'm seeing phantom AA C availability when searching on Expertflyer. I'm searching correctly for award inventory and excluding codeshare - one segment only. EF shows C5, AA says systemwide upgrade not available. Called in to confirm. EF is wrong. AA487 SFO-CLT on May 18. EF says C5; AA says nil.
@Expertflyervoice. Can you take a look at this? Pretty frustrating. |
ExpertFlyer Voice The Keep active feature on alerts is extremely useful, so thank you for adding that. One issue though - when you save preferences for alerts, it doesn't seem to include "keep active" among those saved preferences. I always want my alerts to stay active, and it's a pain to have to select that every single time I create a new one - and select it twice, since my quick alerts are for both schedule and aircraft changes.
I'd also like to reiterate my frustration at the aircraft alerts continuing to be seat map-based. It's tremendously frustrating to have the quick alerts automatically pull up the flight details, including the aircraft type, like below, then be told I can't create my alert because seat maps aren't available for this airline. I don't need the seat map, I just want to know whether it changes from an ATR 42 to an ATR 72. The GDS returns that info. I know some people care deeply about the seat map, but there's no reason there can't be a basic version that just tells you whether the type has changed and the more detailed version that goes by seat maps. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...251d58aa8f.png

Hey Adam - Apologies for this. We noticed the exact issue late last week and our team is expected to put out a fix for this likely tomorrow. You should not have been moved to our free plan tier. Will keep the thread updated.

Me and friends have discussed and at least 5 will discontinue subscriptions because we feel like you're pushing the burden of the "upgrade" development that was not asked for on existing long term subscribers.
A shame since we even kept the subscriptions active all through the covid airline/world shutdowns when nobody was traveling, because we supported the product and purpose even in the downturn. putting subscribers on a legacy pricing plan would be the honorable thing to do. But then any revenue gain would rely strictly on attracting new clients based on the value proposition of new features. Of course, not every product goes up by the same rate as CPI (overall inflation). Some things go up less or even come down, while others go up much more. One could argue that the lack of enhancements to the product during much of that period meant the price shouldn't have increased, or not by much. But I think the increase looks less unreasonable when one considers how long the price had stayed the same. (Although my renewal came just before the price hike, so I have the luxury of having close to a year to evaluate whether I'm happy with the value proposition at the new price) |
No Seat Maps or Alerts for Southwest Airlines?
Is this a temporary glitch, or a long-term feature? Is this capability planned in the future?

Seat and fare class alerts not working on DL? Alert still showing active, fare bucket avaliable / seat now unassigned, but no alert received.

Noticed issues with mobile website lately. Particularly, when using Flight Availability, and then going to "Refine Search" to change search parameters, the Search button at the bottom of the page is inactive. I've had to basically go back and start a new search from scratch.
