Seat maps not working. All I get is...

Ok, now I can't bring up any UA fare info. I can for AA.

Looks like I can get to seat maps & fare info for AA & UA now. Noticed newer graphics/interface for seat maps.

Hey all,
We have just released a newer (and very much more detailed) version of seat maps, along with increased alert limits to all subscribers. All feedback is welcome! The issues reported earlier are most likely related to times when we were pushing updates to our site. |

In some cases it seriously clutters the output. e.g. Looking for an Economy result on a business heavy configuration. |
new seat graphics
The new seat graphics are nice... but seriously bad performance (Safari on MacOS on MacBook Air w/M1). Loading first/business/economy (on an LX A330) and then trying to scroll the graphic is just impossibly sluggish (totally unusable). Switching back to the flight availability browser tab, then back to the seat map tab... the seat map tab is blank, and remains blank for a minute or more as it does who-knows-what before the seat map is displayed again.
Also... can we not have the seat map graphic within its own separate scrollable "window". Scrollable windows within scrollable windows are just horrible user interface... why cut off the seat map at row 15 (or whatever) when there is plenty of white space available in the DOM. Testing on iPhone, it looks great and UI is snappy and scrolling works fine, so may just be a Safari on desktop problem. While I love the new graphic... a snappy performant user interface is far more important to me. Also... it's not picking up the aeroLOPA graphic for the Swiss airlines A350-900 (used on LX 52/53 certain days of the week). Thanks. |
This is rich. With all the technical issues, let's increase the subscription price. You just can't make this up. :D

New seatmaps are ENTIRELY BROKEN for Delta.
I get a basic map that slowly zooms out when I have multiple cabins selected from the first page (such as if I have business/first and premium select). Then it is EXTREMELY slow to be able to zoom in, and I see no enhanced information about the seats. In fact, the seat layout is incorrect. For example, my upcoming flight on a Delta 330-900Neo, the business class cabin is now displayed as two rows so it looks like there is only an aisle in the middle and the seats are 2-2. In fact, this layout is 1-2-1 with two aisles as its a widebody. On another flight on a 737-800 (738) it won't even load the business/first cabin - it bring up SLOW Aerolopa underlay with it all blurred and a button saying 'Load Seat Data' which does nothing when I click on it. WHAT A MESS. Did anyone actually test this? |
Can we go back to the old seatmaps? At least those work and are accurate. New is BROKEN :td:

And I absolutely HATE all of this monthly billing crap. Nice way to stealth increase the price. Obviously those surveys about new features and price were ignored.
So now its jacked up to $131.88 for more broken 'features'... a >30% increase from the current annual price. And I also see some absurd priced 'Elite' plan at 19.99/mo. For what??? Way to drive people away! |

ExpertFlyer Voice please make sure that you test your website when a smartphone's connection is throttled to 128kbit/s or 256kbit/s as this is, unfortunately, quite often the speed you get when sitting out on the tarmac in an airplane and this is also where expertflyer is crucial the most.

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...16821a56dc.png Features nobody asked for. Features that continue to be broken. And last but not least a seatmap that's now loading ways slower when on a constraint network connection. |

Same thought here when receiving the email today.
