Could not pull up same day seat maps for AA yesterday.
Flight ended up getting delayed for arrival to Day+1 but it still took off on the proper date local time. |

Good afternoon EF Voice -
It seems that the "View Booking Class" feature under the "Fare Information" Tab has been down for a while and says "This feature is temporarily unavailable while we make some improvements.". Do we have an ETA on how long the feature would take to be live again? I understand this is probably a niche feature, but I do use it from time to time to understand the mapped booking class for an interline carrier. For me I don't need a high fidelity version of it and the previous version before the site update is more than sufficient. I understand the information presented there was written in pretty cryptic and verbose language, but I think anyone who needs it probably know what they are doing and can live with that (certainly better than nothing!) |

Flight Availability not working at all this morning. Tried multiple dates and routes...
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d46cd90b0.jpeg Is EF trying to throttle our search rate? I ran maybe a dozen queries prior to getting these errors. |

Getting this same error today. When I switch to searching for awards and upgrades, I get a different error message: “We've noticed some unusual activity on your account. Please contact us at [email protected] if you believe this is an error.”

So just got an expertflyer survey about new features, aimed at award availability. Let me say this clearly so that the people at the back can hear.
YOU ASKED THE WRONG QUESTIONS - I DON’T CARE ABOUT AWARD AVAILABILITY I care about revenue availability being correct. I care about you writing a tool that understands Point of Commencement versus Point of Sale. I care about providing GDS content from Amadeus and not just Sabre. I care about fare rules being displayed accurately. I care about seat maps up to departure time being displayed correctly for Amadeus based airlines. This is *EXPERT*flyer, not awardfinderflyer. If you want to know what I *would* pay extra for? Read-only command line access to Sabre/Amadeus/Worldspan. Yes a full read-only console. Then you can charge me double. However If you try and up the price without fixing the basics which are now broken, then I will cancel. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. |

Seems something is broken with the website - there is what appears to be some 'auto refresh' feature, and if I have flight inventory availability results sitting there while I'm doing other things the page eventually gets some cannot load error and I can't get anything on the website to work. The main page loads, but none of my saved queries populate and I can't click on or do anything. This condition goes on for some time unless I clear the cookies for the website and log back in.

THIS. I could not have expressed it any better. Especially the part around command line access as the nice UIs usually fail at one point or another.
While the survey might have felt like it was mainly around awards and upgrades, it was designed to give us a insights on what features our users value the most. Revenue accuracy, fare rules accuracy, and technical infrastructure all remain key priorities. Command line access is an interesting idea, worth exploring what's possible. We'll look into it. Appreciate you sharing this with us. |

Cannot see blocked seats on JL in EF.
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/japa...l#post37474837 Same with CX in EF (EF will show a block of seats as occupied in EF where seats.aero will show the block as blocked - given my knowledge of loads of the flight I am inclined to believe the former). ExpertFlyer Voice grateful if you can confirm these CX and JL block issues will be looked into.

EF has more or less lost the ability to distinguish between assigned and blocked seats for JAL.

Since a few days I get "rate limit exceeded" after a few queries. That's very annoying. A while back these errors came when I had around 10 fare searches within a minute. Now I get it after 3 of 4 queries and then the entire expertflyer website does not work. I have the unlimited plan and don't understand the rate limit on that - up to 10 queries per minute should be allowed.
I often search the best fares to a destination from different origins - that's when I run many queries in a short time - but I would not expect the whole page stopping to work for a minute or so with the "rate limit exceeded" message. |
This may have been mentioned before but whenever I receive a schedule or aircraft change alert, it automatically deletes the alert from my saved alerts and I have to go and save it again as a new alert which is frustrating. Surely these should both have ongoing ‘don’t delete’ functionality until the day of the flight?
