Disconnect on EK seat maps. EF shows Game Changer First seat map on DXB-CPT when EK says old First.

Is EF worthless? It is starting to feel this way.
 
A long time ago, I set up Seat Alert for HA/AS flight HNL-SEA. The alert was set to trigger if the seats became empty (a sign that we had been moved for some reason). Fast forward to 10 days ago, when we changed our flight and vacated these seats. Still have not gotten a seat alert, despite these seats remaining untaken. This trip is two weeks from now, and I would expect that EF's past algorithm of more frequent alert checking would be toggled on by now.

ExpertFlyer Voice , I know you never respond to me inquiries, so I don't really expect you to do so on this one. It is an FYI for anyone else who thinks EF has value.

I guess that it still has some value but not nearly like before the so called "upgrade".
As with many things, we're paying more for a poorly executed upgrade and getting far worse service.
Searches on the old EF used to take less than a second. For me, they now routinely take 4,5, even 10 seconds or just error out.
Rapidly descending in the garbage zone.

Hey all - Apologies for the late update here. We pushed a series of improvements last week that should have solved almost of all these issues.

We are, however, still troubleshooting the button responsiveness issue some have been experiencing. Our aim is to fix it this week. We will keep you all posted.

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like whatever the issue was, it has corrected itself this morning. Both EF and EK seat maps now match.

Quick update on a couple of releases today:
  • You can see qualitative seat ratings (Good/bad) on our detailed seat maps
  • A new way of creating alerts by forwarding your booking confirmation
    • To set up, just go to your account settings and set your automated alerts preferences
