What a mess this has turned out to be. Weird colors. Way too much spacing in seat maps and frankly everywhere. Why does every site think newer is better and that bigger (or smaller in cases) font and more spacing is better.

How about a link to the classic site, which most of us have used and liked for 15+ years? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

SkyTeam777 Jul 16, 2025 9:03 am

Is there no longer a mobile version of the site?

pentiumvi Jul 16, 2025 10:06 am

Is there any temporary link to the old version of the website? While the kinks are being ironed out with the new one...?

The new UI looks great, but it seems that the search for dates is now limited to 11 months instead of 12 months. I got a subscription purely for new award availability up to 12 months from now, but now I can't see new availability unfortunately. Is this an oversight? Could this be fixed please?

Thanks for flagging. This is a bug. We're working on a fix. Will reply once that's up.

Hey everyone - wanted to add some more context on today’s release. In addition to the UI changes, we’ve also made countless backend improvements that are not visible.

Based on your feedback we tried to keep the experience on desktop as close to the old version as possible. We will keep iterating to improve the spacing / font issues that have been posted. Even though the site looks similar, the tech behind it is much faster, more modern, and more secure. This will enable our team to release updates at a much faster rate than in the past and was a necessary step to continue to improve the product.

We appreciate everyone’s feedback. We hear you and are acting on it. Please keep it coming.

ExpertFlyer Voice Why did you folks, once again, release this “new” experience without addressing well-known bugs? I’ve taken the time to send in detailed bug reports (both in this FT thread as well as directly to [email protected]) over the last several weeks. Others here have confirmed these bugs are widespread and persistent. For example:
  1. Many of my future “Flight Availability” saved queries result in NO data being returned in the "Available Classes" column producing an empty white box instead of fare classes and numerical availability.
  2. The "Results View" setting for all my "Flight Availability" saved queries is set to "Show tabbed results by date". However, this setting isn't being carried over to the new "experience" causing it to default to "Show all dates on 1 screen" for my previously saved queries.
  3. Recently deleted (and even some long-ago deleted) saved queries continue to appear despite having been deleted in the “old” experience.
I am UNABLE to use the new experience until these bugs are addressed meaning I’ve effectively lost access to EF the second time in the past month. Please revert to the “old” experience ASAP while you continue at least bringing the “new” experience up to par.

Sent you a DM for more info. While we pushed fixes for these last week in our beta something obviously went wrong today. We're investigating.

Fare results display
1) Font size too small for results -- maybe revert back to the originally sized icons at the far right, which were appropriately sized.
2) Fare rules do not display any of the rules.
3) Overall: the use of multiple fonts and sizes makes a very visually chaotic theme.
4) Data inputs should just be stacked, as previously. As with the "new" ITA Matrix, data input is much cleaner and intuitive when inout boxes are just stacked, rather than going horiz and vertical. The original EF GUI was great! Please don't change it.

Currently the flight availability search function seems to be broken - I get a spinning icon with 'Loading results...' for several minutes and either nothing happens, or it returns results after ~5 min.

Am I missing something, I cannot get historical fares to work. The ticket date calendar is today or a date in the future?

Same here, sometimes it works quickly, sometimes it just keeps spinning. Page refresh sometimes gets you the results.

BTW: "Rate Limit Exceeded" isn't very helpful either :(

WiSK Jul 16, 2025 2:11 pm

Same. While trawling through all my saved seat map queries to fix them, site starts to show "Rate Limit Exceeded".

Also: some seat queries showing "Coach" while some show "Business, Economy" as I selected.

+1. I redid all my seat map queries as most were broken.

The seat alerts app has just been closed, in the UK Apple App Store, hopefully temporarily.

So no mobile function anymore?

This is horrendous UI.

Saved queries way too small

No room for bigger fonts - that would detract from the white space.
