There seems to be flights missing from the schedules on EF. SN operates an apparently daily flight between BRU and NBO.

Check your query.

When I look for all fares in the T bucket, that one doesn't show up, and the fares shown are all higher than the one I paid. Am I doing something wrong?

You will only see GDS-published fares in ExpertFlyer. Those fares are accessible to travel agents, including online travel websites.

It's possible that you purchased a fare that hasn't been published in the GDS, especially if you bought it directly from the airline. They may offer cheaper fares via their own sales channels and those fares won't appear in the GDS. Usually, the airline will file a GDS fare that mirrors their private fare, with the same rules but slightly more expensive. So you can try to find that one.

The US airlines are also moving away from GDS to a new method of pricing called NDC. If the fare is an NDC fare, you won't be able to find it in ExpertFlyer, as it's not supported. This in itself is also the biggest threat to the accuracy of ExpertFlyer at the moment.

Do anyone else have issues with Seat Alerts for iOS (app)?
I get ”Could not connect, please try again later” for many hours now.

Mine forced a logout, now I can’t log back in as the “Sign in” button doesn’t respond. My alerts are still there on the desktop site.

They blocked a whole host of IP addresses in their WAF yesterday with little regard to granularity, I guess because of scrapers or DDoS. I can't access ExpertFlyer anymore from our corporate network. I can still access it from my residential IP address for now.

Will cancel my subscription if this is not rolled back.

I believe that the ExpertFlyer representatives are no longer monitoring this thread. I suggest emailing their customer service.

What's happened to the ExpertFlyer app, SeatAlerts, for Android. I've been having problems logging in for the last couple of days and now I can't even find the Android version to download from their website only the Apple version nor in the Play Store. Anyone know anything about this?

crazyarmadillo Sep 19, 2023 9:16 pm

Seat alerts for Android still not working.

Tried installing, reinstalling and changing password, but nothing.

Web access works though.

I couldn't find it either for Android, only way was to go to manage apps and reinstall it from there.

I contacted experflyer and they just emailed back saying the seat alerts android app is no longer supported.

They are to continue the seat alerts via their website though which provides the same. Just a shame the apps going as it was very useful especially whilst traveling.

I suppose will get used to using the website login again.

Intresting, to me they said they had issues with the login feature and devs was looking into it. No mentions of discontinue the Seat Alerts app. This was for iOS though.

I reported it to their help desk shortly before posting and this issue was fixed diring the following business day.

gizzard Sep 20, 2023 4:43 pm

"We regret to inform you that SeatAlerts is no longer supported on Android. We understand that this may be disappointing or inconvenient for you, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
