Interestingly, I got a response from their support team today indicating that they "hope to have the issue resolved by the end of today".
We'll see... |

Indeed. This could be a massive balls-up in ExpertFlyer's systems - but I struggle to see how the problem would be taking this long to resolve. It also could be related to a change in how the GDS data are made available to them, for example requiring the use of a different method to run queries due to the removal from service of an older/less secure access method.
I do worry that it's a commercial problem, though. I also think, if they resolve the problem, that a significant service credit should be offered, not just 'adding the outage time to the end of the term paid for'. If it's not fixed by the weekend I'm going to have to pay for KVS in case I need to reroute myself on an awkward itinerary. |
Noticed,
https://loyaltylobby.com/2023/07/27/...he-second-day/ How long before are all directed / herded / enticed to move to roame / pointme / seatspy with functionalities to match expertflyer One needs a different mindset but good to look at alternatives - i've given up on KVS-tool - |
It is turning the way as KVS- tool,
better to have alternatives ready .... |
What's a typical price for read-only GDS access if this is dead. I presume Sabre is cheaper than Amadeus?
It's all cloud based for years, max one login, but easily shareable among a trusted group. |
How to buy GDS access? Link?

It’s back online…
|
It might be back... Just ran a successful query.
|
Same. I'm running successful queries on saved flight availability searches for NH and UA and they are returning results. Hopefully this is resolved permanently.

Yay, I'm back in business !! Just ran a few of my Saved queries & they returned results as expected. And, I was able to open the Seat Maps for those returned flights.
|
Working well now in all aspects.

Confirmed by support as working
Hi xxxxxx, thank you for your patience as we've worked with our data provider on a resolution. We sincerely apologize for the issues that have affected ExpertFlyer's usability over the last 2 days. The site is now working as intended, and you should be able to search for your flights and set alerts as necessary. |
Good things come to those who wait :D
|
Doesn't work for me as I get There was an error message from the airline when trying to retrieve this seat map: Error from schedule engine when trying to look up a UA flight to Costa Rica in December.
