FAQ: Royal First Class Lounge and Royal Orchid Spa information and access.
Thought with the number of FCL and Spa questions littering this board it might be worth making a sticky with all the available information and also provide a place for members to ask their questions. Please let me know if you think it is a good idea and please let me know if any of the information I have included is wrong or if you feel anything else needs to be added.

By massaging the major channels/meridians of the arms and reflex points in the hands, this deep hand massage is designed to thoroughly release tension that accumulates in the hands and arms from our daily tasks. finishing with warm towels for both arms encourage muscle relaxation; this treatment can help to deliver a total sense of relaxation.

I have had some PMs from newer members who are confused by some of the abbreviations on this post. If you need help understanding them, FT has a great tool for looking up their meanings in the FT glossary.

My only experience, prior to Tuesday night, was that spa arrangements were made at check-in. The quoted post indicates that, indeed, spa arrangements are now made at the lounge which was also our experience this time. Somewhere between two years ago and now, the process changed from one of making spa arrangements at first class check-in to making them in the lounge.
If you're suggesting that the process never included making spa reservations at check-in then we got a one-off situation, which seems pretty unlikely, because I guarantee that it was among one of the first questions asked of us.

I had a 7-8 hour layover and this is how it went. I got the buggy ride to the FCL from my inbound and grabbed a spot in one of the "living rooms" I told them i wanted to go in the city for a little and wanted to book a massage from when i returned. They kind of insisted i get my massage first. After the massage i was able to leave my stuff in the living room and was shown where to go to get to passport control. I rode the train to the city, walked around a bit, took the train back to the airport. Went back to the first class check in area and was escorted back to the lounge, my stuff was still there when i returned.

Hi guys I've searched and not found a direct answer yet:
if arriving on F at 6am and departing in C at 5pm, I'm wanting to go to the city i have carry and on hopefully checked though bags to HAN.
1) can/should i take the buggy to the international lounge (transit)?
2) can i exit the lounges to go into town easily on the city train (once in the F/C INT lounge?)
3) if yes to the above, can I leave cary on with them and just take my essentials?

Where can I leave my bags with the F lounge team? How do I leave the F lounge and go through immigration and back easily?

As for making your appointment at checkin I've never been asked by the agent or inquired about it preferring to just take care of it in the lounge. So who knows what the events were during your one time two years.

I sure miss the days of arriving on TG F and the golf cart ride to the escalator and being escorted up to the F lounge for domestic TG C transfers. Man that first dragon encounter when we didn't know about the rule change was harsh. We were so looking forward to the spa vs. the mosquito infested domestic lounge. Damn rule changes! I wouldn't put it past TG to flop back (even though it doesn't make sense security wise) as they aren't the most consistent/copmmon sense airline to say the least.

- To get out of the airport,
- Exit the FCL and go left.
- At the entrance to the C concourse (on your right) there is small passageway just past the escalators. Go through the passageway and down the escalator.
- At the bottom of escalator turn left and follow signs to immigration.
- At immigration go to the far right to use the fast track.
- After immigration, go through customs and then down the elevators or escalators to B1 where you will find the train to the city. (You can also get car service from AOT on the 2F or taxis on 1F).
- On returning to the airport, go up to 4F (departures). (The elevator to the far left when you enter the terminal at B1 is usually fastest.) On 4F, go to the far left for TG international F check-in. Show them your BP. They will escort you back through security and immigration to the FCL.

Hi all,
I'll be arriving into BKK next week in TG F and departing later to CMB in Y (downgraded from C; flight now sold as single class) on Thai Smile (TG flight number).
I've noted the TG F > TG C,Y rules in the wiki. I know that Thai Smile is in the process of leaving *A and becoming its own sort of "standalone" carrier, so I was just wondering if the same rules will apply for my TG F > Thai Smile connection.
Thanks!
