- 22D (bulkhead aisle, center section)
- 29D or G (exit row aisle, center section)
- 38G (normal center section aisle)

No windows available, except row 45...

Main goal is minimum disruption, extra legroom/space always a bonus. What would you choose?

Thanks in advance!

Definitely 22 over 38. Not sure how 22 ranks over 29 as I haven't sat in the exit in a while. I prefer the bulkhead and getting off the plane sooner

Anyone able to confirm which one?

Here's a picture of 7K on the A343 with 8K "missing" a window. I assume 8A is the same.

This is not the case with the A333 though.

This is 7K. See that 8K behind is not missing the window

Interesting. It shows how useful these onboard snaps can be. ;) Seatguru says 6A/K and 8A/K on the A343 (and 9 A/K on the A333) are missing a window.

P.S. I've sat in 6K on the A343 and didn't notice any window "missing". :o

Thanks Josh, had already blocked 22, so glad to have a vote in favour!

Business Class single seats on A340-300

I called LX Central Reservations Basle and had pre-assigned for us two single seats in the mini front cabin of Business Class: 4A and 5K.

Do you agree with our choice or does it need some improvement ?

Thanks in advance for your inputs,

juan516.

4A and 5K are two of the best single seats in the mini-cabin. ^

I assume you know that these two seats are the furthest you can sit apart in the mini-cabin. So if it was the intention was to sit as far away as possible from your travel companion, then it was a good choice.

Both seats looked at individually are excellent choices.

Not sure whether this has been covered earlier on in this thread but I keep on wondering about how seats are pre-assigned on short haul flights and whether SENs/HON get a priority. I sometimes buy tickets 2-4 days before departure, and ALWAYS all the window seats and often the aisle seats between the curtain and the emergency exit show as occupied (I book through my travel agency's website). For sure not all of these pax are SEN or HON (sometimes I look on BPs or pax manifest). It's not that these seats are blocked by the system because it's a random pattern, sometimes it's the aisle that is occupied, sometimes two seats next to each other, etc.

So doesn't LX give the front seats in the Y cabin to status pax, unlike Lufthansa?

If you want to talk, 2 middle seats are options, or 5G and 5K. 4A and 5K are great in their own right (best and second best,) but are the 2 farthest seats from each other.

Anyone have any insight into which is better for a couple, 5 or 9 AB? Seems that 7 isn't available on either of the flights. Return shows 5,9,11AB available.

Probably prefer the window to the middle, and I'm guessing row 5 is preferred by most? Galley noise, toilets an issue there?

Minicabin of course. 5AB or 4DG. Window vs bigger foothole due to bulkhead. Or 5DG with neither.

Galley is behind you, toilets are behind 5K and in front of 6A. But not an issue. Biggest disadvantage of the minicabin is the view into the F section.

Always go with the mini-cabin! Is 4 available?
