Would I be entitled to any form of compensation if there was a downgrade?

Read the thread I started...

In the middle of it. And I've looked at the site, and see not ZRH-TLV flights that are officially listed as having the A320 - ALL mention the A333. (Not that that wouldn't stop a swap; but in regards to the letter you received)

That's because there are no A320 scheduled, which is one of the reasons I found their response so infuriating.

By the way, it's the A340 that is the "dedicated" aircraft on the route not the A333, which only does the occasional appearance (like on your flight). . .

Having said the above, just looking at the schedule for early Feb and the A333 does seem to be scheduled on the route fairly often.

Which is why I commented. The first time I flew the route, I was on the A332. From then on, including October/November, it was the A343. When looking at mid-late February and early March, it's all the A333.

not all, it seems to be a mix of A340s and A333s.

Agreed. I sat in the middle of row 5 with my wife and thought 4K would be the best option in the mini-cabin if 4A was taken.

Hi geo1005, hi all,

What do you think are the best of the 3 double seats available in the mini cabin as a couple? As my girlfriend likes to have a window I guess it's 5AB, though legroom might be better in 4 or 5DG? Any input is welcome!

Thanks,
tom

As far as I can tell in my flight experiences, legroom is identical or close enough to it that it is not possible to notice. I would choose either row and you will be fine.

Agreed, and specifically, if your GF likes window, go for 5AB. It's always more comfortable when it's someone you know being "blocked from the aisle" than a random person.

Agreed. That said, if you want more space, the center two seats in row 5 have a larger console between them. The downside is that both passengers are on an aisle vs. 5A & B where you get the window seat.

Not much difference, really. The main difference is the lavatory in front of 1A, I would say.

Flying overnight 5K on the A333.

Is the galley loud/bad for sleeping?
