I have the same question.. Someone ?

I already was on these flights and choose 29 for the outbound leg and 23 for the inbound. I've to say that I prefer 29 because of the significantly extended legroom. If you go for 23 - I recommand 23J as you can strech your legs at least into the business class section. What I like at both seats is the fact that no-one reclines the seat in front of you. So 29 is the way to go if I'll be in LX Y again.

29 it is!

Do you also have experience with LH in Y? 24 A&C? Is the bulkhead to close to stretch your legs?

44JK on A343

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been asked before but I didn't have much time to sift through all the pages..

My girlfriend and I are travelling on LX160 ZRH-NRT next week - when I went to select seats online the other day the only AB or JK seats left together were in row 44 (obviously as a couple we would prefer AB/JK, though there weren't even many seats next to each other left in the middle block..)

Seat Guru says that these seats are standard with no negative comments, though some similar sites warn that we may be disrupted by the bathrooms/galleys and there is limited recline due to the bulkhead behind.

My question is therefore -

1) are these seats all that bad? Our main concern is not being able to properly recline on a 12hr flight.

2) is there a chance that when it comes to OLCI or bag drop at the airport there may be some AB or JK seats having freed up which we may be able to move to?

Many thanks in advance!

Seated J for A333

I will be flying on LX 242 (ZRH to DXB) in J. I currently have 8A. The only mini-cabin seats are D/G in both 4 and 5. I am traveling alone. Am I better off keeping what I have or switching?

thanks

Keep the throne! Don't switch to the mini-cabin (IMO)

Having tried both 8A and 4G - I will by far recommend 4G, unless you prefer the window. I found 4G to be much more spacious and comfortable around legs and feet’s.

+1. Bulkhead trumps throne.

Maybe I'm biased because I'm a window guy, but having done 6D and 10A, I loved being in the throne more than any bulkhead benefit.

I find the mini-cabin claustrophobic. I've been in 4A (multiple times), 6K and 7K and actually prefer 7K (next to the window, with the table between you and the aisle).

Eh, I preferred 5K to 7K, but that was because there were only 5 people there and every seat in the regular biz cabin was taken

Another problem of the mini-cabin is it's too close to the F cabin. :p

Quick question: I can choose 5G or 12A on the A343. I am now on 5G. There seems to be a big fan base for the mini cabin but voices for throne seats are also loud. What shall I choose? I am worried that with 12A they might run out of food choices as it's the third last row...
Thanks!
