The best summary of LX C seats is still the article I copied & pasted in this post. The next best row after row 4 is row 6. As I wrote earlier there's nothing special about row 5 except 5K which is one of my favourite seats.

If you've selected 2D,G,K or 2A,D,G on LX A330 I'm sure you will stay in their will. ;) And as to row 2, I did offer 3x first awards but goalie-dad nixed it due to the additional mileage amount as it would be x3 vs x2 for just goalie-parents like I did two years ago where I put them in the pointy end ;) |

But was it on the A330? A330 F is very different from A343 F. :)

I just booked a flight in F on the A330. All four window seats showed an X on seat selection. Do we think those are actually reserved/occupied? Or are they being set aside with the possibility of opening up later?

There's a long thread about this problem.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/swiss...a-2k-lx-f.html By the way, I ended up sending an email (no response in 4 days) and then calling. They assigned me 1K but said I would get bumped if a special needs passenger ends up flying; seat is set aside for them. The other three must be legitimately booked. |
Hello everyone. I'm a LX newbie. Flying on LX 39, SFO-ZRH in a few weeks. Biz class seat selections limited; only 6K was available. SeatGuru indicates that 6K is a "bad" seat and that it is missing a window. How bad is it? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks!!! |
It is not bad and it has a window.

I agree. I've sat in 6K and it's one of the better seats with plenty of room for your legs/feet. It also has a window.

In theory these are reserved for SEN and HON but there are reports of *G having called successfully for these seats indeed. Worht the call.

It's my experience that they only reserve those seats if you can provide a SEN/HON number that is then added to the reservation..... but you can always try at OLCI.

Late heads up that with PEK operated by 333 from 31MAR and has no crew rest, 2K will be blocked for crew rest and a curtain installed around it. Some C seats might be blocked too for Cabin Crew.

Very strange question - flying A320 and sitting in C. Colleague needs extra legroom. Exit row is showing up as Y, not C. Could he book an exit row seat?
