Can anybody confirm whether LX065 is on a A333 from MIA to ZRH on the 15th Mar 11?? And if so will it have the new bus class?

ANA shows 343, swiss say 333.

Usually, I would trust the LX homepage more than ANA, and the flight shown as 333 on the LX homepage.

Expertflyer shows 333 with the proper seatmap as well.

All LX 333 have the new business class.

Ok great. Thanks.

You didn't happen to notice if seats 5A & 5B were available did you?

Dan.

All seats in rows 4-9 are occupied or blocked with the exception of 8G and 9K.

As Newbierunner said, most of the seats in the front of the cabin are gone.

Your only options for 2 sitting together are 10/11/12/14DG and 14AB.

Seat 2K on A340

Can you pre-assign this seat in F?

I thought i read LX wont assign this?

I hope i am wrong.

As its LX or LH F A340 vs 747 (both with 8 seats)

Not sure about the seat, but I'd go for LX all the time above LH in F. LX is better in everyway in my opinion

What are the best seats for two travelling together???

Is there a prefernce for the mini-cabin rows 4 & 5??? It seems 5A&B would be best for two people by the window.

Any help is appreciated.

After booking, I did phone LX direct and reserve 5A and 5B. I gave them my Star Gold number even though this is award travel and they booked us 5A and 5B right away. Are these the best seats for two peole travelling together???

SFO-ZRH

Do the SFO-ZRH-SFO flights feature the new F and new J? Or is it only new J with the old F product?

Apologies if this is answer is found somewhere, I did a search but didn't find an answer

Second best seat on A340 (Y)?

A340-300

original layout (C-Class is being refurbished):

[...]

Y: layout 2-4-2 (not yet tried out, source: LX-seatmap).
[...]
Avoid: Row 23 (limited legroom), Row 28 (next to the lav's).

[...]

Do other people agree that row 23 should be avoided? I was thinking that it being the bulkhead outweighs the "limited legroom" described in this thread (how limited is it actually - can someone quantify this?). I have a TATL whY reservation where all exit row seats are already taken and am looking for the least of all evils :)

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'll answer my own question, having sat in 23K in the meantime: I actually liked row 23 and I will reserve it again in case the exit rows are taken. I think it is a great advantage that nobody reclines into your space and that you will get service as early as possible, especially on an overnight flight. It is true that you can't extend your legs as much as usual (you are sitting behind a divider that goes all the way down to the floor), but the overall feeling is more spacious than in the other Y seats. To illustrate this: sitting at the window, one can easily get out without having to wake up the neighbor.

Seats open but cannot be booked

Do we have to call LX to get seats in the front cabin of Y? What about exit row, only available at check in or can these be purchased?

Just a quick question:

I am new to LX and want to ask, on RJ-100, the armrests between seats(D-E-F) in Row 2-4 are moveble or not?

I am still considering using either ZRH-LHR on A320 or ZRH-LCY on RJ-100

Thanks a lot!!

The seats on the Avro RJ100 are the same as the standard seats on the A320. The armrests are movable.
