I have a upcoming ZRH-JFK-ZRH in C. On expertflyer 4A - 6A - 8A - 10A - 12A are all showing as "X = blocked". Are these seats blocked for SEN/HON and then at OLCI if they have not been taken by SEN/HON they are then released?
|
When I took the ZRH-JFK-ZRH route last time the 4A was blocked until online checkin was opened (23 hours before?) then I could get it.

Does anybody know which registrations of the Airbus A330-200s are in the two-class version and which are in the three-class version?

ZRH-LAX old C-seats or new?

I was just thinking the same and I'm hoping LX view ZRH-LAX as one of their premier routes in the same vein as they do ZRH-JFK, which I believe was one of the first routes to receive the 333.
I would imagine LAX, like JFK, has good demand for premium seats. Hi, there I was so happy with my last F-class flight in Swiss (between New York And Zurich), I booked myself without even thinking into MXP-ZRH-LAX and JFK-ZRH-MXP in C. Now I started to wonder if that might have been a mistake, as the longest leg of this trip seems to be old seats. Has anybody done this and can confirm this is new material? I am travelling end of the month, April 2010. See you around |

Do you mean that you have booked onto the A332 but you actually want to fly on the A333? What is your flight number and dept date and I will check what metal you are on.

Thatīs absolutely kind of you! checkmytrip comes back with A340-300 for LX040 on April 27th (which does not help me to determine if they sport the new seats yet). But maybe you would know? It would certainly be very relieving to know that I I am sitting on good hardware for 12.30 hrs :-)

None of the A340's have the new business class seats yet. Swiss web site currently states they are being rolled out from Quarter 2, 2010. The A340 business class seat isn't as good as the new one, but better than the A332. A340 Seat
Maybe they will have the new C-Class on the LAX flight the next time I am going there. safe journeys to you all. |
A333 economy ZRH - JFK
Hi Folks,
I'll be flying economy to JFK. 22D and 22G are open (22F blocked). These are bulkhead seats. Has anyone been on them? Seatguru says people find leg room is limited. I wonder how much? Thanks! |
Flew A330-200 on ORD-ZRH in F this week - totally underwhelmed with both hard and soft product. And shocked with the IFE, which was a very limited rolling program from what felt like early 80's with very poor picture quality.
They seem to switch equipment more often than some change underwear on that route - 332/333/343 in a dreadful melange. I've been much more comfortable and better looked after on both UA F and BA/NZ J. Very dissappointing. But now I know. |
I know I have to be ashamed but I have not flown Swiss before and I can't find the answer in this thread. :o I booked a flight though ;)
Is there any way of selecting seats in advance on Swiss within Europe? This is an Economy booking with status, I of course aim for the exit rows. Thanks for any possible advice. |
